Our Springer had a wonderful weekend with Chloe. He came home very relaxed and happy. She really looked after him with great walks, good company and he enjoyed being with her and her family. They treated him like one of the family. Chloe is very honest, her house is lovely, clean and tidy and she has a garden. Highly recommend.

It is very difficult to quantify how incredible and sweet Andreia and her beautiful family are. I could talk about how wonderful she was with our “less than easy” Spaniel, but there are so many other aspects of Andreia that makes her quite special. We had numerous complications with our holiday plans including a very last minute postponement as a result of American bombing in the Middle East. Andreia took it all in her stride. In summary, I would dare to suggest that if you are lucky enough to have Andreia take care of your dog, you can count yourself lucky.

About: I am new to rover but have lots of experience with dog sitting. Apart from caring for my very own Cavapoo, Teddy, I have regularly looked after my family and friends pets too. Dogs have always been a part of my life and always had one in my home so I have a lot of experience from owning my own pets. I used to have a shar-pei and a Staffordshire bull terrier. I work from home so it enables me to give your pet all the attention they need, some company with plenty of cuddles and lots of playtime! My dog would also love a friend for the day or the night too. I love all type of breeds, big and small. To make sure your furry pet is comfortable, I am happy to meet them before hand and will ensure you are kept regularly updated with photos too. Any questions feel free to message! I currently work from home and can offer regular toilet breaks with a big enough garden available and huge greenery / fields near by so your furry pet will get enough exercise too. I have a fenced garden which is safely secured. If you prefer to keep your pet crated, I do have one available. In addition, I have a 16 month Cavapoo of my own who will ensure to keep your pet company. My pet is allowed in every room of my house, no rooms are restricted so will ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable.

About: Animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I raised my beloved rescue dog from a 2-month-old puppy all the way to 14 years. In her final years, she became very ill, which gave me extensive, hands-on experience in specialized senior care and administering medical treatments, including oral tablets, liquid solutions, and eye drops. Throughout my life, I have also owned and cared for many cats.Beyond my own pets, family members, friends, and neighbors have regularly trusted me to sit, feed, and look after their dogs of various breeds and sizes. I am a very active person, so I am always excited for long walks and engaging playtime. I am also happy to help with essential grooming, such as brushing and safe nail trimming. Your pet will receive the highest level of responsibility, love, and dedicated care! I am currently not working, which means I have a completely flexible schedule and can dedicate all my free time to your pet. I am available at any time by prior arrangement, allowing me to provide constant attention, timely feeding, and long walks whenever your dog needs them. Safety and trust are my absolute priorities. I have plenty of space in my home and a secure, fenced garden where your dog can play safely. Since I currently do not have any pets of my own, your furry friend will receive 100% of my love, care, and undivided attention. Having raised a rescue dog for 14 years, I know exactly how to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and safe.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently have a friendly 6 year old Cockapoo who is a much loved member of our family. Growing up, I cared for my Irish Setter, Yorkshire Terrier, Dalmatian and German Shepherds, giving me experience with a range of breeds, sizes and personalities. I understand that every dog is different and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved. I offer a home for dogs who don’t like being left alone. My own Cockapoo has severe separation anxiety, so I completely understand how stressful it can be to find someone who truly understands their needs. Because of this, we made the decision years ago that he is never left alone. Not even for a quick trip to the shops or to pop out for a few minutes. Your dog will be treated like one of the family, with free access to our home, plenty of love and attention, and constant companionship. If your dog struggles with separation anxiety, you can relax knowing they will never be left on their own while in my care. I work full-time from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day and won’t be left alone. My flexible schedule allows plenty of time for toilet breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment and cuddles. Your dog will become part of our daily routine and receive lots of love and attention while you’re away. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure garden for safe outdoor time, and my home is a dog-friendly environment where pets are treated like family. I have a friendly 6 year old Cockapoo who enjoys the company of other dogs. Because he has separation anxiety, I understand how important routine, patience and reassurance are, so dogs in my care are never left alone. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and keep you updated with regular photos and messages for complete peace of mind.

About: I have experience caring for neighbours and family members dogs while they are away or at work, including feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship. I also own a playful 2.5 year old toy cockapoo, giving me daily hands on experience with caring for dogs, maintaining routines, and creating a safe, loving environment. I work from home Thursday to Friday from 9–5, which means dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention throughout the day. My routine includes a morning walk before work, a lunchtime walk, and another walk in the evening, along with playtime, companionship, and regular toilet breaks to ensure dogs stay happy, active, and comfortable. Over the weekend, it’s park fun, we go over to play fetch and have a long run around. I provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment where dogs can feel relaxed and at home. I have both a small and large dog bed available to suit different breeds and sizes, along with plenty of toys for playtime and stimulation throughout the day. Dogs will receive regular walks, attention, affection, and supervision, and I always aim to follow their usual routine to help them feel settled, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have always grown up around cats and been a part of a ‘cat family’. As we know cats all have very different personalities and I’ve been around many of them; friendly cats who crave affection and more independence cats that want love from a distance! Cats have an independent nature so caring for them has always come with ease but not without teething issues! I’m confident with holding and securing cats (at the vets or if there are other animals around) whilst also giving space when needed and love when wanted.

About: I’ve had two cats of my own and have also looked after cats for friends and family. Caring for cats has given me experience with feeding, changing litter trays, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and settled while their owners are away. I love how affectionate and loyal cats can be, and I enjoy spending time getting to know each cat’s individual personality. I understand that every cat is different some love attention and play, while others prefer their own space and I’m happy to care for them in the way that makes them feel safe and relaxed. I’ll always treat your cat with the same care and attention I’d give my own, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Hi, I'm Hannah - a freelance arts manager and pet sitter. I'm a huge animal lover, having owned and cared for over 30 pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish - and one slightly grumpy terrapin! My freelance work means I am very flexible and can be home for most of the day to keep your pet company. I've cared for animals of all sizes and dispositions from nervous kittens to excitable labradors and pets in my care get their walkies or play every day without fail, rain or shine, and all the care and attention they would be accustomed to with plenty of cuddles, brushing (if they like those things) and of course, approved treats. My family pets were often older rescues with difficult pasts and nervous when they first came to us, so I'm used to catering to those sorts of needs in an animal in terms of appropriate levels of exercise and handling, giving medication, providing lots of reassurance and affection and just letting them feel comfortable, safe and to get to you know you at their own pace. Puppies and kittens are no problem either though, and I'm happy to continue any training you may be doing with them. When visiting pets in their own homes my aim is to make them feel comfortable and secure, including having them sleep in with me if allowed, and will do either leashed walks or dog park visits - whatever they are used to. If I have another local dog walking appointment during my stay and your dog is good around other dogs, they will get to come along too and have bonus walkies! As I'm home the majority of the day, pee breaks can be regular and I'm happy to give medication, food and water etc. as needed, whether doing daily drop-ins or longer term housesitting. I have a very flexible schedule and fit in admin work from home around pet-sitting. Saturday late afternoons - evenings are my only inflexible time due to work commitments, but I am happy to take longer housesits incorporating a Saturday if the pet can be left for 6 hours or there is a temporary companion such as a family member or neighbour who can cover that time. When staying in an owner's home, I follow the pet's normal feeding and walking/playtime routine so that they feel safe and settled. I also maintain any house rules set by the owner (whether this is 'no pets on the furniture', or a requirement for the pet to sleep in my room). I minimise the need to be away from the house during the day (unless the pet is used to this and it's considered better for their routine to continue the pattern), and never leave a pet alone overnight.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have many years experience caring for them. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine as I work from home which allows me to give your pet lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, and long walks. I have had lots of experience caring for animals. Myself and my partner recently spent over a month at a dog & cat sanctuary in Malaysia whilst travelling where we learnt how to provide extensive care to rescued, abused, and disabled dogs/cats. We were trained in basic care/training, hydrotherapy, administering medicines including injections and also how to understand animal behaviours and care for anxious/scared animals. We enjoyed every moment of our time spent with the most precious dogs and come away having learnt so much and having even more love for dogs then we even thought was possible! I love all dogs, any size. We have a beautiful, loving Doberman named Zeus, who loves long walks, lots of cuddles and also meeting new friends whether it’s to stay, play or relax together. I am happy to offer a meet and greet session to ensure compatibility and that your dog is comfortable and happy around me. I will also provide regular updates with photos and videos of your dog/s having lots of fun. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home full time meaning I can work from anywhere and have plenty of time for walks, cuddles and playtime. I have a quiet home that has a large fully enclosed garden for the dogs to run around and are surrounded by bridle paths for enjoyable walks for your dogs. We have a long fully fenced garden for your pet to play in and they will never be left alone. I will also give you regular updates of the fun they are having whilst at our home. I am able to give them long regular walks and ensure they are happy, safe and comfortable.

About: We have an indoor cat (eight) and a Labrador (two) so have reasonable experience. We spend a lot of time with the pets, playing, training and instilling good habits. About: I have several years of professional house and pet sitting experience, built up through Trusted Housesitters, where I've earned over 30 five-star reviews. Over that time I've cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments — from small, anxious dogs who need gentle handling and regular medication, to big softies who just need reassurance during thunderstorms. I'm comfortable adapting to each dog's routine and personality, and I know how important it is for owners to feel genuinely at ease when they're away. Whether your dog needs calm, patient company or an energetic companion for walks, I'll make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. Your home will be treated with the same respect and care as my own. I'm currently on a career break from Finance so I can happily make time to spend with any dog in my care. My days are flexible, which means walks, feeding and any care routines can fit around what your dog is used to rather than what suits me; whether that's a long walk or a day lounging on the sofa in their safe space. Over many sits I've encountered all sorts of dogs and learned to read what each one needs. From small rescues who are usually nervous around men and just need time and calmness, to mischievous Spaniels who will seek out their favourite muddy puddle given half the chance. I take each dog's individual needs seriously, whether that's sticking to a familiar routine, administering medication, or simply knowing when to give a dog space and when they just want company. In a pet owner's home I treat everything with care and respect, and I'm always happy to follow whatever routines and house rules the owner has in place.

Bruno had a wonderful time with Chloe! Our 3-year-old Boxer (who very much still thinks he's a puppy) was in great hands. She clearly put in a lot of effort — a long, happy walk and plenty of socialising with other dogs made for one very content boy. He came home absolutely exhausted and is now snoring away in his bed, which is the best sign of a great day out. We really appreciate the care and attention Chloe gave him. Highly recommended! 🐾

About: I’ve cared for friends and family’s dogs of all age. I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and keeps to their normal routine. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s extra playtime or gentle care, I adapt to each pet’s needs to keep tails wagging and owners worry-free. We work from home so there is always someone around for a lap to sit on. Our dog gets a quick walk before work in the mornings then generally we work a longer one into the afternoon. We are often at home or we take our dog out with us to the forest or beach. I have a fenced off garden and stair gate on the kitchen door to stop any dogs escaping out the front door. We are a dogs on furniture kind of home and you will often find ours on our lap!

About: My husband I have always loved dogs and had them in our lives since childhood. We are early retirees and able to offer outstanding care for your beloved pet/s. Our own beloved family member, Alfie, a Cocker Spaniel died in 2018 and we have since then lavished all our love on our granddog Duke, a Golden retriever, who lives in LA, whom we have helped raise since he was a puppy. We are early retirees and when not travelling, are able to offer 5 star care for your dog/s in our home, which is a good size, clean and very safe. We are both young, mid 50's and very active with access to walks around the lovely countryside in Bocking, Braintree. Having been on Rover for nearly a year and with a bit more experience, we offer a high quality service limited to just one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. We will not mix your dogs with any other dog, at any time during the stay. We wish to provide the best care possible and for us, we realise it's best if we concentrate on a single dog, or a pair of dogs, from the same family to maximise, safety, care and attention on your beloved pet/s. We are recently retired and therefore able to prove maximum time and attention to any Dog that stays in our home with us. We are also able to visit your home for walks or drop-ins. We have a fenced in garden, which is dog friendly and safe. We have a spacious home, very safe and clean and a perfect loving environment for your pet. We live very close to the Fennes, giving us the best walks in Essex, perfect for us to exercise ourselves and your pet. We are both mature and responsible adults with lots of time on our hands. We are only looking to look after a maximum of one dog, or two dogs from the same home, at any one time, as we are looking to provide high quality and maximum attention to a small number of dogs, so we can enjoy the experience of having dogs, rather than providing care for financial reward alone.

About: I have a 4.5-year-old miniature long-haired Dachshund, so I understand first-hand how important it is to have someone trustworthy and caring looking after your pet. I’ve loved dogs and cats from a young age and have always been surrounded by animals throughout my life. I’m a big animal lover and a strong advocate for animal welfare, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine as I work from home in a corporate role. This gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day, so I’m able to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and feeding schedules with ease. I can step away from my desk as needed to make sure pets are checked on, cared for, and given attention at consistent times. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m also able to provide a reassuring level of presence and reliability, rather than being tied to fixed office hours. I’m well organised with my workload, which allows me to plan visits around my schedule and be responsive to each pet’s needs. I also offer dog boarding services in my own home at your request. I provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for pets in my home. I have a large fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs to play, run around, and enjoy outdoor time safely. At home, I have one friendly miniature long-haired Dachshund who is very sociable and loving, and can provide company for visiting pets if suitable. However, I’m also happy to keep pets separated if preferred or if they need their own space to feel comfortable. I have a crate available if requested, along with extra dog beds, toys, bowls, and treats to make sure visiting pets feel settled and cared for. My priority is always to make each pet feel safe, relaxed, and at home, while following their usual routine as closely as possible.

Suzzana took wonderful care of my dog, Dexter, during his daycare, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. She took Dexter for walks, played with him, and gave him plenty of love and attention. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him and treated him as if he were her own. Dexter absolutely enjoyed every moment with her and was always happy and relaxed when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Suzzana to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you so much for looking after Dexter so well!

About: FULLY LICENSED AND INSURED. For me, pet sitting isn’t just about feeding and walking—it’s about making pets feel loved and secure while their family is away. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, and I truly enjoy getting to know them and making them feel at home with me. 🐕🐈🐇🐠 I love them all! Pet care fits right into my routine because I’m home most of the week. That means your pets get companionship, care, and lots of love just like they would from family. We have used Rebeccas service twice now and she is fantastic, she took great care of both my dogs and they returned home very happy and tired after a long day of cuddles and playing. Rebecca took them for 2 long walks and sent pictures of them out enjoying the fields and woods with her dog. On both occasions I received lots of photos of my dogs so I was aware they were happy and safe. We will definitely use Rebeccas service again!

About: Pet Care Experience: My partner and I have extensive experience in veterinary care. I have worked as an emergency vet nursing assistant and student veterinary nurse, while my partner is a qualified veterinarian. We have encountered and worked with a wide variety of animals, and are adept at providing first aid if ever needed. While we love our current jobs, we are particularly passionate about working with animals and would like to extend this passion to our home life. In addition to our professional experience, we currently foster small breed dogs, including pugs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Dachshunds, and others. We also have our own dog, a female pug named Olive, who was originally a foster dog but has become a permanent member of our family due to our deep affection for her. Therefore, any dogs that stay with us must be dog-friendly as Olive will be helping us insure you have a tired pooch. Schedule: I work part time as an evening vet nursing assistant at an emergency veterinary clinic on a one-week-on, one-week-off basis. During my week off, I provide doggy day care and boarding, which is already scheduled in my diary. My partner, who is a qualified veterinarian, works during the day at a veterinary clinic from Monday to Friday. We are open to caring for pets with medical needs, such as diabetes. Your furry friend will be treated with the same care and attention as our own pets. They will have free range of the house, including the bed, sofa, and garden. Our 4-bedroom home is just a 4-minute drive from the Cotswolds, providing plenty of opportunities for scenic walks. For less mobile dogs, there is a playing field a 9-minute walk (2-minute drive) from our house. We generally keep dogs on a leash for safety, however, we can accommodate off leash time in some enclosed dog-friendly fields nearby upon request.

I have looked after friends and family members animals whilst they are away, house sitting and walking the dogs, feeding them then ending the night with a film and cuddle on the sofa. I have house trained out most recent dog coming up to the age of 3 now he is fully trained and good as gold.. apart from the occasional chewed up toy ! I currently work part time in retail completing 16 hours a week. I walk my dogs twice a day as they are very energetic and they are always happy to say hello to other dogs on our walks. I care for my dogs by walking them as previously discussed. Feeding them twice a day, giving them a nutritional meal and occasionally a treat. Keeping their minds stimulated and having fun. I am also very happy to play with them even if that means throwing a ball back and fourth for hours on end !

Sonny was all tail wags after his walk with Sarah! She was prompt, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Sonny took to her immediately and couldn’t wait to head out again—which says everything. It’s such a comfort knowing he’s in caring, capable hands. We’ll definitely be booking with Sarah again.

We left our dogs for the first time while we went on holiday. After meeting Karen, Grahame, Ben, and Oliver beforehand, we instantly knew they would be the perfect family to care for our boys. We were so worried about leaving them, as they had never stayed with a dog boarder before, but Karen’s kindness and calm reassurance immediately put us at ease. Karen cared for Buddy and Hugo in her home for two weeks while we were away, and she was absolutely amazing. Our boys were so well looked after—loved, cuddled, walked, and cared for exactly as they are at home. Karen and her family followed all of our guidance, kept in touch every day, and sent regular photos, which completely eased any worries we had. Buddy and Hugo looked so happy, relaxed, and settled during their stay. It was clear they were treated like part of the family. We would never use anyone else. We highly recommend Karen and her wonderful family to anyone looking for someone truly caring and trustworthy to look after their dogs. We will most definitely be booking again soon! 🐾❤️
