About: I'm an experienced pet owner and sitter with a love for all animals. I have my own 8 year old rescue dog, Kika, who has various behavioural and medical issues which has given me a lot of experience in managing these conditions. Before adopting Kika I spent many years pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy and Trusted Housesitters - looking after dogs of various ages and sizes, cats, and even chickens. I grew up with cats so have experience looking after all ages from young kittens through to senior and blind. In the week I work mostly from home, so for house sitting I just need somewhere to work from my laptop. My work is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time for lots of fussing and a couple of walks during the day. Depending on your pets routine, I often start the day with a longer walk before breakfast, and then a number of toilet breaks throughout the day with a short walk at lunch time. I am sometimes also able to take dogs for boarding, but my own rescue dog would need to meet them and be comfortable with them first. For housesitting I will respect your usual routine for minimal disruption to your pet, feeding and giving any medication at times they are used to, and accommodate their usual walks, garden access, sleeping arrangement etc.
“At short notice, I was able to book Ping Yan to look after our dog three times over half term for a full day. She was very professional, friendly and caring and I felt 100% confidence in her. She kept contact throughout the day sending videos and information about how our dog was doing, which was great. On the first day, we were stuck in London and got back much later than we had initially anticipated. Ping Yan was very understanding and kept telling us not to worry as we waited on delayed trains to get back to Cambridge. She made us feel very reassured which really helped. I can’t imagine that anyone would be anything but overjoyed at the way Ping looks after dogs so you have nothing to worry about with her. She was also very punctual whenever I texted her to say that we’d be downstairs in a few minutes to meet her.”

I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and regularly dog-sat for family and friends. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits, as well as daycare and boarding in my home. Since I’m not currently working, your dog won’t be left home alone for long periods of time and will receive plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Services and hours: Dog walking: Available 7 days a week Drop-in visits: Available 7 days a week Daycare in my home: Drop-off after 7:30 a.m.; pickup by 8:00 p.m. Boarding in my home: Drop-off after 7:30 a.m.; pickup by 9:00 a.m. the following day For daycare and boarding, owners must provide their dog’s regular food, any necessary medication, and a crate if one is used at home. If it’s your dog’s first time away from home or if they experience separation anxiety, I recommend bringing a favorite toy, bed, or blanket to help them feel more comfortable and settled. I'm not currently working so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dog! I am available for boarding everyday, including weekends. About: I’ve grown up with many different animals including dogs, rabbits, cats and guinea pigs. I have my own energetic dog. I have completed 1 year of work experience at a veterinary school hospital and worked with many different breeds of dogs. I’m known to be trust worthy, reliable and full of fun. I’m available from Monday - Friday from the hours of 8am - 8pm, with the occasional latest 10pm for dog sitting if needed. I would love to spend my spare time with animals. I have a driving license of 2 years with a car, I am happy to take them to many different places for walks. I am happy to take your dog(s) to a fully enclosed dog field with obstacle courses and a splash pool if they can swim. They will be dried off before bringing them back into your home.

About: I have cared for two dogs for 18 years of my life - a Jack Russel named Ralph and a Collie cross Lab named Martha. When I was 16, obtained a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management at Shuttleworth College. Here, I acquired husbandry skills for a wide range of animals such as reptiles and exotics to goats and wallabies. I graduated from the University of Lincoln this year with a first class with honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I cared for and trained several dogs through the university. I further worked full time at a Doggy Day Care for 4 months - walking all breeds and sizes!! Currently, I am studying MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln, with hopes of becoming an accredited clinical animal behaviourist. I am currently completing this Masters by attending lectures every Monday and Tuesday. I am looking to work between Wednesdays and Fridays as this best fits my study schedule. Within an owner’s home, I will follow all instructions provided, keeping their pets in a safe environment at all times and only using positive reinforcement techniques.

I’m a relaxed, caring, and reliable dog lover who treats every dog like one of my own. I’m currently on maternity leave, so I’m home throughout the day and can provide lots of supervision and company. When my partner is home, we enjoy taking the dogs on long walks, countryside adventures, and fun outings. We also love taking them in the car for new experiences! Our home is very dog-friendly, with a large secure garden where dogs can run, play, and relax. I understand that accidents can happen, and I want every dog to feel comfortable and at home during their stay.
