About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was a baby, I currently have a little Jack Russell who is very friendly and well behaved. I have dog sat several times for friends and family and regularly dog sit for friends nearby who also have a Jack Russell. She has stayed with me for periods of up to 2 weeks at a time. You can expect your dog to be well cared for, walked, fed (including any necessary medication) and to be made part of the family during their stay. Your pet is welcome to roam from the bungalow to the garden or come sit in my wooden work studio in the garden as my Jack Russell does. We have a large wooded area nearby for walks and a very friendly community of dog owners here. The dogs regularly socialise on the large village green I have a good sized garden which is fenced and gated. We also have a ring doorbell for security. Sam and Harper were very proactive in reaching out to us, not only to share all of Piper's adventures, but also to ask questions and check on any concerns (which we had encouraged beforehand). They were very loving and kind to Piper, and she was devastated that she had to come back home when we collected her. In addition to all of the care, Sam and Harper were also very quick at responding to messages, and met us promptly for drop-off and pick-up. About: I'm an experienced pet owner and sitter with a love for all animals. I have my own 8 year old rescue dog, Kika, who has various behavioural and medical issues which has given me a lot of experience in managing these conditions. Before adopting Kika I spent many years pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy and Trusted Housesitters - looking after dogs of various ages and sizes, cats, and even chickens. I grew up with cats so have experience looking after all ages from young kittens through to senior and blind. In the week I work mostly from home, so for house sitting I just need somewhere to work from my laptop. My work is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time for lots of fussing and a couple of walks during the day. Depending on your pets routine, I often start the day with a longer walk before breakfast, and then a number of toilet breaks throughout the day with a short walk at lunch time. I am sometimes also able to take dogs for boarding, but my own rescue dog would need to meet them and be comfortable with them first. For housesitting I will respect your usual routine for minimal disruption to your pet, feeding and giving any medication at times they are used to, and accommodate their usual walks, garden access, sleeping arrangement etc.

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was a baby, I currently have a little Jack Russell who is very friendly and well behaved. I have dog sat several times for friends and family and regularly dog sit for friends nearby who also have a Jack Russell. She has stayed with me for periods of up to 2 weeks at a time. You can expect your dog to be well cared for, walked, fed (including any necessary medication) and to be made part of the family during their stay. About: I have cared for two dogs for 18 years of my life - a Jack Russel named Ralph and a Collie cross Lab named Martha. When I was 16, obtained a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management at Shuttleworth College. Here, I acquired husbandry skills for a wide range of animals such as reptiles and exotics to goats and wallabies. I graduated from the University of Lincoln this year with a first class with honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I cared for and trained several dogs through the university. I further worked full time at a Doggy Day Care for 4 months - walking all breeds and sizes!! Currently, I am studying MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln, with hopes of becoming an accredited clinical animal behaviourist. I am currently completing this Masters by attending lectures every Monday and Tuesday. I am looking to work between Wednesdays and Fridays as this best fits my study schedule.
