“Sandra was amazing with Gatsby, doting on him and keeping him company, playing with him, taking him for walks, and generally making him feel very welcome and safe. She was also amazing with myself as an owner by keeping in contact and providing regular updates and reassurances. I would highly recommend her.”

“Janet and Bruce are just extraordinary. Their love of dogs is reflected clearly in the care and attention they gave my boy. I was nervous to leave my dog as he’d only been away from me once before, but I have no hesitation in saying I would ask them to watch Jack again in a heartbeat. They are calm and experienced, and sent photos and videos during his stay, as well as making sure he was happy as can be with lots of exercise, play, and cuddles. It was obvious how much Jack loved his time there when it was time to collect him, too. I highly recommend them if you want a couple who will care for your dog(s) as if they were their own. I couldn’t be happier and wish I could give them extra stars! Thank you both so much.”

“May is absolutely amazing! She is a true animal lover and an incredibly trustworthy dog sitter. We are so happy we found her,she is an absolute diamond! She looked after our dog, Kuma, for five days while we were on holiday, and we couldn't have asked for better care. Kuma absolutely loves her, and it was clear she treated him as if he were her own dog. May went above and beyond anything we expected. She brushed him every day, cleaned his teeth, washed him with suitable products, and even spoiled him with delicious treats. Most importantly, she kept us updated throughout our trip with regular messages and photos, giving us complete peace of mind. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and we couldn't be more grateful. We highly recommend May to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and dedicated dog sitter. Thank you so much, May!”

“Lovely family who love and understand dogs! Mango and truffles really enjoyed their time with Harry. There were regular updates, photos, and lots of walks. They’ve also dog proofed the furniture so you can rest assured plenty dog cuddles will be had! We are very happy with Harry and his family’s care for our boys.”

“Lauren is great! Very easy to communicate with, and her family looked after Momo very well with lovely long walks and lots of cuddles. Will definitely book again. Thank you”

“We are so incredibly grateful to Suey for how she looked after our dog. This was a very last minute booking and Suey was so gracious through the whole process. Ettore was well looked after, happy, all his needs were met and my husband and I were worried that he wouldn’t want to come home! Thank you so very much! We will most certainly ask Suey to look after Ettore again!”

“Chelle responded quickly to a last minute weekend booking, welcomed my dog into her lovely home, was great with communication and updates, and most importantly I picked up a happy and tired dog! Thank you.”

“Wonderful family to look after your dog! We Had lots of updates and our dog Terry made himself at home with Sarah and family very quickly! “Sam (Zhong) and Harper looked after our lively Border Collie Piper for 4 nights at their home near Media City. We were delighted to receive very frequent updates - pictures and videos via a Whatsapp group, that showed our pooch happily eating, drinking, playing, and generally having a wonderful time. Sam and Harper were very proactive in reaching out to us, not only to share all of Piper's adventures, but also to ask questions and check on any concerns (which we had encouraged beforehand). They were very loving and kind to Piper, and she was devastated that she had to come back home when we collected her. In addition to all of the care, Sam and Harper were also very quick at responding to messages, and met us promptly for drop-off and pick-up. I'm sure that Piper would love to go and stay with Harper and Sam again in the future :)”

“Lilah thoroughly enjoyed her stay with Francisco Jr O. “Ewelina was amazing with my puppy. She gave me regular updates, I’ve never met anyone so amazing with my puppy. Constant fun and love shown to my pup. Her two dogs also were amazing with my puppy and helped with socialisation. Was very worried having my puppy stay away overnight for the first time but she put me at ease. I will definitely be using her again.”

“I asked Gemma on a very short notice to visit my dog. It was second time I used her services. She responded quickly and agreed for a drop in visit. My dog was very happy to see her again. Additionally she is very good in making sure the doors are properly locked and she is even taking the shoes off once indoors. Very respectful and I couldn’t be more happy with her. Thank you.”

“Hemalatha was great at stepping in last minute to cat sit. She came to meet my cat ahead of the booking to ensure she knew exactly what was expected, and was wonderful with my cat who isn't always hugely enthusiastic about cat sitters! About: Hi, I’m Ping - a dedicated cat owner and genuine cat lover based in the UK. I share my home with two British Shorthair cats, and caring for them every day has taught me how important trust is when choosing a cat sitter. As a cat parent myself, I’ve experienced what it feels like to travel while worrying whether my cats are truly receiving attention, companionship, and proper care — not just a quick check-in. Because of this, I approach cat sitting from an owner’s perspective. I understand that cats need more than food and litter maintenance; they need calm company, patience, and someone who notices small changes in behaviour or mood. I naturally take a gentle, observant approach and enjoy building trust with each cat at their own pace. My aim is simple: to care for your cat with the same attention and responsibility I expect for my own.
“Danielle has been wonderful with our little Charlie. He looked very happy and well looked after when I came back from a long holiday. I am certainly going to ask Danielle to look after our fur baby again in the future!🙂”

“Fantastic experience. Reliable and responsible. Put at ease the moment we booked and could relax on holiday knowing Gemma was taking care of the cat so well. We shall be booking again and again”

“Josh was great! He sent photos and videos from his visits, and our shy cat took to him right away. We came home to a happy and relaxed cat, and some healthy plants which he was watering for us too. He was very caring, responsible, and communicated with us regularly! I’d highly recommend! ”

“Cosmo loves being looked after by Eli. He was very excited to see her when she picked up the key! Total peace of mind while we were away with updates and photos. Have come back to a happy and relaxed cat. ”

“So nice knowing the cats were so well looked after. We could see from the photos sent how comfortable they were with Kristine meaning we could relax and enjoy our break away. Would definitely recommend Kristine, it is clear to see how much she loves animals”

About: Although my Rover profile was originally created in 2018, I soon began working in a cattery, where I gained valuable hands on experience caring for cats every day. Because I was working full time, I only accepted occasional private bookings. I am now focusing on offering cat sitting more regularly and would love the opportunity to care for your cat in a calm, safe and loving home. I can’t walk past a cat without stopping to say hello and offer some fuss. I have 2 beloved cats of my own who are a staple part our family and doted on by us all in the household. I have also worked in a cattery, where I cared for cats with many different personalities and needs, from playful and affectionate cats to shy and nervous cats. I understand that every cat is unique and I take the time to help each one feel safe, relaxed, and loved.

About: I’ve had cats since I was born. I also in my younger years worked as a veterinary nurse so have experience handling all types of situations with both friendly and not so friendly kitty’s. Currently have two rescue moggies that bring me joy and stop me from doing absolutely anything sitting down (headbutts for scritches if I am parked)

“Carla was a fantastic sitter. Our cats are a bit picky about strangers so I was worried they’d hide when she came round but she seemed to have them eating out of the palm of her hand (literally) in no time. We were kept updated with texts and pictures throughout the period. Would thoroughly recommend Carla to others.”

About: I'm an experienced pet owner and sitter with a love for all animals. I have my own 8 year old rescue dog, Kika, who has various behavioural and medical issues which has given me a lot of experience in managing these conditions. Before adopting Kika I spent many years pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy and Trusted Housesitters - looking after dogs of various ages and sizes, cats, and even chickens. I grew up with cats so have experience looking after all ages from young kittens through to senior and blind. In the week I work mostly from home, so for house sitting I just need somewhere to work from my laptop. My work is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time for lots of fussing and a couple of walks during the day. Depending on your pets routine, I often start the day with a longer walk before breakfast, and then a number of toilet breaks throughout the day with a short walk at lunch time. I am sometimes also able to take dogs for boarding, but my own rescue dog would need to meet them and be comfortable with them first. For housesitting I will respect your usual routine for minimal disruption to your pet, feeding and giving any medication at times they are used to, and accommodate their usual walks, garden access, sleeping arrangement etc.
About: Growing up with pets of all kinds like dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and chickens. Over the years I have also looked after pets for family and friends. As I work-from-home, I offer companionship and cuddles. Your pet will enjoy a consistent routine, frequent breaks, and dedicated attention throughout the entire day and a quiet space to sleep. My home has dedicated indoor spaces for your pets and direct garden access. Your pet will enjoy companionship and frequent outdoor play, with other pets in my care and with myself.
“Sandra had Ria for a long day while I was working in London and was absolutely fantastic - professional, well organised, super communication. Ria loved her stay so much she didn't want to leave when I collected her. I felt at all times that Ria was in safe hands and being well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to use Sandra's services again or recommend her to anyone else.”

“Highly recommend May, she went above and beyond when looking after Barney for the day. We had a meet and greet beforehand and found May to be very knowledgeable and considerate of Barneys needs. She sent lots of updates with videos and photos throughout the day which was great and made me feel very reassured that he was being well looked after. She even went so far as to teach Barney a new handy trick! Would definitely be happy to book in with May again in the future.”

I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and regularly dog-sat for family and friends. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits, as well as daycare and boarding in my home. “Bella loved spending time with Lauren and her family. We feel relaxed knowing she’s in good hands. Lauren also sends regular photos and videos of Bella which is lovely as I always miss my fur baby when we’re away from her and it always puts a smile on my face seeing her happy.”

“Sam and Harper are such a lovely couple and they took such great care of Darcy, I would 100% recommend them! They kept in touch with me through the day and gave me updates, they were also very flexible with me when I wanted to pick her up early, so thank you for that! They were great with our medium energy young/adolescent dog and she was clearly happy when I picked her up, to the point she was whining when they walked away from the car! THanks so much <3”

“Hayley is fantastic with dogs, and it’s clear she has a natural talent for working with them. Our young lab spent the day with her and came home absolutely happy and content. We would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and capable dog sitter.”

“Janet and Bruce were so accommodating and flexible. We have a rehomed adolescent doggo who is still learning and were keen to find the right fit for her. As soon as we met them we knew that they were the right people to take care of Lullah. Their warmth and experience, as well as their set-up, were reassuring and instilled us with confidence. They took wonderful care of Lullah and sent us welcome updates during the day. Thank you!”

About: Hello 👋 My name is Freya and I'm an experienced, fully insured cat sitter ✨. I've been cat sitting for friends and family since I was a teenager, and over the last couple of years I've taken this more seriously, caring professionally for a wide range of cats with different personalities and needs across Cambridge 🐱. I've always grown up around pets, as my family adopted several rescue dogs over the years. As I've got older, I've realised I'm more of a cat person, especially since moving in with my partner and his beautiful cat 🥰. As cat parents, we all know how particular our feline friends can be, thriving on routine and familiar surroundings. I'm dedicated to providing calm, attentive care in your home so your cat feels safe and comfortable while you're away 🤗. My services include: - Feeding, fresh water, and litter box maintenance - Playtime, grooming, and affection tailored to your cat's personality - Administering medication if needed - Plant watering, mail collection, and basic home check-ins - Regular photo/video updates so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and looked after I'm patient with shy or anxious cats, comfortable with multi-cat households, and happy to follow detailed care instructions. I offer flexible scheduling and can typically arrange visits before and after work hours to fit around your cat's routine. Since I work from home, I'm also able to accommodate daytime check-ins when needed. When caring for cats in their own home, I prioritise keeping their environment calm, secure, and familiar. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, litter, medication, and any specific routines your cat is used to, and I'm careful to keep doors and windows secure to prevent escapes. I take time to let cats warm up at their own pace, especially shy or anxious ones, rather than forcing interaction. I'm fully insured, so you can have peace of mind knowing you're covered. I also send regular photo or video updates so you always know your cat is safe, happy, and well cared for, and I'm happy to handle small home tasks like watering plants or bringing in post to help your home feel lived-in while you're away.

“I approached Emma to walk my senior shih tzu last minute after not being able to find a dog walker to cover the days my usual one was away. From the moment I messaged, she made the effort to meet me and my dog, gathering the necessary information she’d need before the scheduled walks. Her quick replies, detailed reports and punctuality those days she had walked my dog was so reassuring whilst I was away at work. I can’t thank her enough for going far and beyond to ensure my little one had her mid-day toiletting and exercise, even if it meant getting soaked in the pouring rain! If you want someone reliable who cares for your pet, Emma is the person to ask!”

I am fun, energetic and always keen to help others! Pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy structuring my day around walks, feeding times, play, and companionship. I’m active and outdoorsy, so regular walks and exercise are easy to slot in, and I can work at home to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and affection throughout the day. On a weekly basis, I plan ahead to make sure each pet’s routine is consistent, calm, and tailored to their needs. I always prioritise safety, trust, and comfort. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding instructions, walking preferences, and any medical or behavioural needs. In my home, pets have a calm, clean, and secure environment with plenty of space, a fenced garden, supervision, and enrichment. In an owner’s home, I’m respectful and reliable, keeping everything as it was left and maintaining the pet’s normal routine to minimise stress. I keep doors, gates, and leads secure at all times, avoid unfamiliar risks, and provide regular updates so owners can feel confident their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“I had to cancel the service as I was home early and I was able to walk the dog myself, but Erin still offered to walk my dog! My dog had such a good time with her and her partner who is a dog trainer. I definitely recommend!”

“This was my first time using William to walk my dog Betty and I was very happy with the experience. He arrived early, was friendly and professional, and immediately put both Betty and me at ease. Betty can be a little hesitant with new people, but she seemed very comfortable with William. He took her on an hour-long walk and it was clear she enjoyed herself. I’ve already booked him for another walk and some overnight stays. Would recommend!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved caring for them. I had my own schnauzer from the time he was six months old until he passed away at age 12, giving me years of hands-on experience with a dog’s daily care, routines, and companionship. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and regularly dog-sat for family and friends. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits, as well as daycare and boarding in my home. Since I’m not currently working, your dog won’t be left home alone for long periods of time and will receive plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Services and hours: Dog walking: Available 7 days a week Drop-in visits: Available 7 days a week Daycare in my home: Drop-off after 7:30 a.m.; pickup by 8:00 p.m. Boarding in my home: Drop-off after 7:30 a.m.; pickup by 9:00 a.m. the following day For daycare and boarding, owners must provide their dog’s regular food, any necessary medication, and a crate if one is used at home. If it’s your dog’s first time away from home or if they experience separation anxiety, I recommend bringing a favorite toy, bed, or blanket to help them feel more comfortable and settled. I'm not currently working so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dog! I am available for boarding everyday, including weekends. I have a fenced garden and I do not currently have any other animals at home. Your dog will have free run of the house except bedrooms. I am happy to crate your dog if that's what they are used to, but you will need to provide your own crate.

About: I have cared for two dogs for 18 years of my life - a Jack Russel named Ralph and a Collie cross Lab named Martha. When I was 16, obtained a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management at Shuttleworth College. Here, I acquired husbandry skills for a wide range of animals such as reptiles and exotics to goats and wallabies. I graduated from the University of Lincoln this year with a first class with honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I cared for and trained several dogs through the university. I further worked full time at a Doggy Day Care for 4 months - walking all breeds and sizes!! Currently, I am studying MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln, with hopes of becoming an accredited clinical animal behaviourist. I am currently completing this Masters by attending lectures every Monday and Tuesday. I am looking to work between Wednesdays and Fridays as this best fits my study schedule. Within an owner’s home, I will follow all instructions provided, keeping their pets in a safe environment at all times and only using positive reinforcement techniques.
