He is absolutely adorable, very well-mannered, friendly, playful, and fully trained. Chester loves the company of other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for your furry friend. About: I am flexible to support your fur child, as long as they’re happy to be with a large golden retriever named Douglas (4 year old). I work from home so can ensure your pooch is a priority, we have a lovely enclosed garden and local walks nearby. I’ve looked after friends and families dogs throughout my life and a huge dog lover. Douglas even has his own TikTok if you wish to view the fun we have: teachm........ I’m used to big dogs growing up with a German Wirehaired Pointer and we also had a Border Terrier. All shapes and sizes are welcome in my home. My schedule usually starts between 6-7am, we are up and out with Douglas. I’m usually logged on my laptop from home at 8:45am finishing at 17:15pm. I manage my own diary and can book meetings around your dogs needs. I live at home with my partner who is on 12 hour shifts, so he is in/out depending on his schedule. After work we have another walk. Bedtime around 9-10! Douglas sleeps downstairs but we don’t mind dogs upstairs too, whatever they are comfortable with. I have a fenced garden, space for them to explore and open house for them to sit on several sofas! I’m happy to cater for their needs, ensuring their usual schedules are followed as much as possible. Douglas is super friendly and happy to welcome visitors.

About: We don't have any pets but we usually take care of our friends dog when they're on holidays 😌 your dog will definitely be fed, walked and played with! So if your dog loves kids, it may be a perfect place for him to spend some time 👌 I am working mostly remotly, so it will be easy to schedule in walks with your pet and other care. Apart from school runs and a few ours some days a week in the evening to go to afterschool activities we are at home most of the time. If husband is not working and I am out with kids he would stay at home with a pet we are looking after. We will adapt our activities and make sure your pet has the best time in our care We have two daughters 3 yr old and 6 year old who loves little pets, but has never hurt any pet as both are a bit cautious. We all will love to play with your per throw toys and run around. We have medium sized back garden which is fully fenced and chance for pet to run away through the gaps as there's none. We would take your dog for a walk twice a day and of course feed him according to his needs and how he's used to at home.

They clearly adore animals and Sparky had a wonderful time. I wasn't expecting her to be walked because Sparky is very strong willed and rarely allows anyone else but me to walk her. However, Sarah struck up a strong rapport and did take her out. Brilliant care and very happy with all she did for her whilst I was working. An easy 5 star rating.”

About: My love for animals comes from a lifetime of caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, I had two Shih Tzu dogs, Buzz and Poppy, who I helped raise, train, and walk every day while supporting my disabled mother with their care. “Laura looked after our dog, Izzy, for a weekend recently after other plans fell through. Laura is clearly experienced and asked plenty of questions to make sure she could provide the best possible care, which helped put us at ease. The meet and greet, drop off and pick up were all really easy and Izzy clearly had a really lovely time. We will definitely book in again!”

“Nelson had a wonderful time in the care of Sarah and Ed and their 2 dogs Skye and Bonnie. I’m always nervous leaving him anywhere new but needn’t have worried as Sarah sent me lots of reassuring updates and photos. He’s come home happy and full of his usual mischief so I know he’s had a great time with them. Would recommend Sarah and Ed to anyone considering leaving their fur baby with them. About: I have grown up around dogs and regularly have my mum’s dog to stay for up to 2 weeks at a time. I trained my family dog when she was a puppy and continue to recap her commands with her. I also have looked after my friends cats when she goes away by checking in a few times a day to feed and play with the cats and ensure they get time to go outside. I am a hybrid worker so have the flexibility to wfh. My hours are flexible so I can ensure I take dogs on long walks during my lunch break and that they are fed and played with at periods throughout the day. I have a fenced garden with plenty of grass and space to go to the toilet and run around. I live at the end of a cul-de-sac so very safe area with no cars passing by and a main road is a bit of a walk away. I allow pets on the sofa and have a plenty of blankets to cover furniture with so don’t mind them jumping up.
“This was the first time we left Peppa with someone rather than having a sitter stay in our home. So we were a little worried about how Peppa would adapt, but we needed not to worry. Peppa settled down after a couple of days and Alastrina took excellent care of her and Peppa seemed to be very happy. Alastrina also sent us updates on Peppa's progress, which was much welcomed. We are very happy to recommend Alastrina!”
