About: I have been caring for dogs for many years, beginning when I lived in Latvia until 2011. During my school holidays, I regularly looked after my grandparents’ dogs — sometimes as many as four — as well as my godmother’s little dachshund, Rikis. I also helped neighbours by walking their dogs and caring for them when needed. Currently, I have a lovely, almost six-year-old Boxer named Chester. He is absolutely adorable, very well-mannered, friendly, playful, and fully trained. Chester loves the company of other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for your furry friend. We have a spacious garden at the back of our house, giving the dogs plenty of space to play and relax. We also enjoy regular walks around the village and through nearby fields. “Joseph and Helen had a met and greet with Stan (my elderly Boxer) before they cared for him. He’s usually a little nervous of people he doesn’t know but went to them straight away with no anxiety, which tells me a lot about someone. Joe kept in communication before hand ensuring he knew everything he needed to know about Stan and any foibles he had. While I was away I was sent a photo and message to say how well he was settling. “This being my first time leaving my dogs, i can honestly say i've never been more happier. Both dogs were more than happy with Bradley which was great to see from my more nervous people cocker spaniel and my puppy was clearly enjoying herself and having fun playing with Lincoln. Whilst ollie the older cocker spaniel enjoyed quuer cuddles. Bradley sent us plenty of pictures of them which was really reassuring and responded quickly to any questions we had. I currently have a lively 3 year old Springer Cocker Spaniel cross called Hector who I’ve raised from being a puppy. “Sarah and her husband are a lovely couple with a lovely house and a lovely garden. The place is a very nippy drive from the centre of Lincoln and you get stunning views of the Cathedral on the way. They clearly adore animals and Sparky had a wonderful time. I wasn't expecting her to be walked because Sparky is very strong willed and rarely allows anyone else but me to walk her. However, Sarah struck up a strong rapport and did take her out. Brilliant care and very happy with all she did for her whilst I was working. An easy 5 star rating.”
About: I only sit a maximum of 2 dogs at a time. They will enjoy daily walks and constant attention to deal with all their needs. I have a lovely large enclosed garden they can enjoy at all times. I have 2 teenagers who adore dogs and they will not want for any more love and attention than I can provide for them. He's normally a very nervous and clingy dog but from the get go Aneta was extremely professional and planned Berties stay in advance to ensure that he was made as comfortable and happy as possible. She took him on plenty of walks and showed him extensive attention and affection throughout his stay. Making sure he felt at home. “Joseph and Helen had a met and greet with Stan (my elderly Boxer) before they cared for him. He’s usually a little nervous of people he doesn’t know but went to them straight away with no anxiety, which tells me a lot about someone. Joe kept in communication before hand ensuring he knew everything he needed to know about Stan and any foibles he had. While I was away I was sent a photo and message to say how well he was settling. When I hit back from my trip I was met by a very relaxed and chilled dog who had obviously had a good time.’ I would certainly use Joseph and Helen again and can’t recommend them enough.😃”
“This being my first time leaving my dogs, i can honestly say i've never been more happier. Both dogs were more than happy with Bradley which was great to see from my more nervous people cocker spaniel and my puppy was clearly enjoying herself and having fun playing with Lincoln. Whilst ollie the older cocker spaniel enjoyed quuer cuddles. Bradley sent us plenty of pictures of them which was really reassuring and responded quickly to any questions we had. Will certainly use Bradley again as its always nice when you find a home from home that your dogs are settled and comfortable with. Would also recommend to friends.”
“Jade and Aaron looked after our Newfie for a week and they couldn’t have taken better care of him. We were sent regular updates so we could see what he was up to and he looked so happy playing with the other dogs that were also staying there. They took him out on some nice walkies and they brushed him regularly so that his coat stayed looking all fresh and clean. It was quite warm whilst he was staying so they made sure he stayed nice and cool in the shade. We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to look after our bear for us. We would 100% recommend.”

About: I have always had dogs and cats in the house until last month when my 23 yr old cat died. I don’t want another dog/cat of my own because, having recently retired, I am at that stage of life when I can travel whenever I want to however, I already miss the companionship that an animal brings to a home and feel that giving your dog a home from home experience will serve two purposes; firstly it will give you piece of mind that your dog is being lovingly cared for and secondly it will fulfil a need in me without impacting my wanderlust! The experience I can offer is purely from having my own pets, all of whom were rescued, the first being back in 1994 when I adopted my first dog from Battersea Dogs home. During my career I have held positions of responsibility within the RAF, local Education and most recently the NHS before retirement. I am recently retired and are therefore mostly at home which means that your dog would have all the love, fuss and company it needs. I have a large walled garden most of which is laid to grass. Unfortunately I have had to remove the gates as they were rotten so there is open access to the garden. In the interests of safety, I would ensure that your dog is kept on the lead whilst outside. I live on a one way, single lane street in a quiet area of the village with immediate access to some great country walks which I am looking forward to exploring more.
About: I’ve had dogs almost constantly since I was 7, of all sizes and temperaments, with a particularly fondness for greyhounds/lurchers. Have looked after friends’ dogs over the last few years too. Currently in between jobs, when I do work it will be part time. Husband currently works from home so almost always someone in the house. Like to travel and be active at weekends so weekdays work better currently. We have a small secure fenced garden with a large park and other field areas nearby for plenty of sniffs and longer walks. Teenage daughter at home who has always been around dogs. Currently have our own beagle who is fairly chilled; happy to not leave any visiting dogs on their own with her if preferred. We do live in a 3 storey house with the living room on the first floor so dogs need to be OK with stairs.
