Whether you’re looking for a light bite or a full on sit down dinner, Liverpool is a dog friendly city bursting with loads of amazing ways to explore it with your pet. We’ve rounded up the best dog friendly restaurants in Liverpool that are so tasty, they’ll keep you and your pooch coming back for more.

Address & Map: 79 Seel Street, Liverpool, L1 4BB

If you’re looking for a casual but cosy dog friendly restaurant in Liverpool, this is one of the best around. Whether you’re looking for a swift pint with your pet or a full on American style feast, this place has got you covered. With craft beers from all over the world and delicious junk food, this place has got cheat day with your dog written all over it. They’re very accommodating to four legged friends and will happily offer fresh water and a treat for your dog where possible.

Hot dogs are their thing – with some unique options that make this place very insta-worthy. One of their most popular and out there varieties is the Peanut Butter and Jelly Hot Dog (yes you read that right!) which features peanut butter, raspberry jam and pretzel pieces. The venue gets quite lively in the evening, so we recommend this as a good lunch spot with your dog, rather than a dinner date.

2. Love Thy Neighbour

Love Thy Neighbour is relatively new,but has made its mark on the dog friendly Liverpool scene pretty quickly. It has become popular for its laid back vibes, feel-good food and relaxing decor that make it an ideal place to just come and chill out with your dog.

It’s a perfect place for those with dietary requirements, as there are a range of options for everyone from vegans and veggies to coeliacs and people with food allergies. Plus, it’s a nice open plan space meaning that your excitable furry mate won’t get caught up under people’s feet as they’re trying to eat.

Your dog will also be delighted to find out that they serve treats for good boys & girls whilst the humans are eating, so your pup won’t get too jealous as you devour some vegan soul food.

If you’re looking for a dog-friendly restaurant in Liverpool that offers an amazing selection of vegan food, then this is one not to be missed. Add on top of that delicious cocktails and gigantic portion sizes and you’ve got yourself the perfect location.

The food is delicious and dirty (they market themselves as a vegan junk food restaurant so what do you expect?). They’re committed to making sure your belly is full and will not disappoint the token vegan in every friendship group.

The fact that they allow dogs on seats and do everything they can to accommodate your furry pals makes it a real must for every dog lover who wants to involve their pet in the whole experience. Try out the amazing thick shakes and beers too, if you’re feeling like a real treat. A great friend date, romantic date and puppy date spot.

If you’re feeling peckish, Brasco Lounge is a great place to stop for a casual lunch. They’re famous for their loaded fries, massive burgers with all the trimmings and great cocktails, so it’s the perfect place if you’re feeling like a naughty treat.

Make a visit here with your dog to enjoy the quirky, arty atmosphere of the place alongside a rich, locally sourced menu that will have you (and you’re pooch) salivating. This Balearic and Mediterranean inspired haven brings all the good energy of an ibiza sunset party to your feet. This amazing foodie hotspot features three floors of chill areas, with tapas, sangria and cocktails to tickle your fancy.

They are super welcoming to dogs here, and offer water and treats for well behaved pooches. They even let your dogs on the beds and sofas, so they can snuggle up and enjoy the vibe with you. Be warned though – past 10pm there are no dogs allowed as things get a bit more lively and loud at this venue. You’ll find a great playlist that feels like summer at this venue, and occasionally a DJ set too.
