Before shopping for a big dog crate, it’s important to know your dog’s measurements, including width, length, and height—in addition to weight. The term “large” could cover anything from a Labrador to a Saint Bernard so checking out dimensions before you purchase is crucial.
Ideally, the crate should be tall enough to allow your dog to fully stand up, wide enough for her to turn around and long enough to let her fully stretch out.
