About: Hi I love animals and for the last twenty years I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, and fish. I have two rescue Greyhounds and have been volunteering for the Greyhound Trust and Home Run Hounds for 6 years. Prior to that I have volunteered for the RSPCA. I am currently completing an online course in dog behaviour and welfare. I have been a nurse for 30 years now working 9-5 Monday to Friday but with flexibility and my dream is to eventually work full time with animals. I'm currently working full time Monday - Friday (9-5) but there is plenty of time to help with animal care early morning, after 5pm and weekends. I volunteer at dog kennels 8-10.30am on Saturdays. I would not see fitting in animal care as a chore but instead a priveladge. Who doesn't love animal cuddles, obviously on their terms 🙂 My hope is to reduce my 9-5 nursing role and build up my animal care role. I have two rescue Greyhounds, one who is anxious and we are working on her reactivity which is through fear so at this time I am not offering home boarding however I am happy to come to you. Just let me know your routine and requirements and I will respect and work with you.

She is very professional in her approach and goes the extra mile to make sure you are reassured that your pets are being well cared for. She’s sends regular photos and updates that are really helpful. Before our booking we did a meet and greet and the dogs instantly liked Charlotte - that was the real test! Charlotte will be staying for a week over summer for us and we are confident our dogs are in safe hands. Not only that but she has been very respectful of our home and keeping it clean and tidy.”

About: I helped raise Alfie, a Cockapoo, for two years with my ex, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in caring for and training a dog from a young age. I also regularly look after my boss’s Cockapoo, Lottie, and have cared for several friends’ dogs and cats while they’ve been on holiday — most recently Sandy the Cavapoo and Lucy the Cocker Spaniel. And Coco the cat. I’m confident when it comes to looking after dogs and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I love going on long walks, but also cuddling up on the sofa and relaxing. I work Monday to Friday in an office. Dogs are allowed into the office with me. I have weekends completely free. I enjoy walking and running. I have a decent sized garden with a gate and it is fenced off. My home is cosy and warm and welcome to all dogs. Hopefully lots of cuddles on the sofa!

About: I grew up on a farm and love having pets around. My partner Ana had a similar childhood and became a Vet. Our friends leave their pets with us when they go on holidays, so we are used to having animals in and out of the house. We try to only have one family at a time to avoid unnecessary stress on pets that don't know eachother. I work fully remote with flexible hours. I can take your dog out for walks during the day or keep a close eye on your pet if required. Being separated from your pet can be stressful and we know that first hand, but they will be treated as family and we'll give you frequent updates throughout their stay. Though we will have to agree what too many updates would look like, so I don't end up spamming you with too many of them.   We have a friendly neighbourhood and a fairly large fenced and secure garden which we are aiming to cat proof soon as well. We have our own cat, Lizzie, who is very clingy with everyone she meets.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbours cats since I was around 12. I also have a 12 year old Cavalier called Hughie who is my best friend. My whole life has been surrounded by animals and I love meeting new friends x I currently work part-time at Screwfix and am looking to expanding my options in my gap year. I am very flexible and am able to visit frequently. I have a fenced garden for my dog who has always been prone to escaping with bad recall. I am more than prepared to keep all pets where they should be, it’s like a 6th sense for me.

I offer a home from home environment for your beloved pet and guarantee lots of walks and cuddles! My own dog Tilly loves company and would be a great companion during your fur baby’s stay! I provide all the home comforts to ensure your pet doesn’t get too home sick!! I have been looking after dogs all my life and love nothing better than walking down the transpennine way which is situated at the bottom of my road. I offer over night boarding for as short or as long as is needed Monday to Sunday.

About: I have adored animals for as long as I can remember. I began volunteering as a cat cuddler and dog pen cleaner at an animal rescue center as a teenager. We always had cats in our home growing up. I worked in a pet store for three years and feel I gained much knowledge and insight in doing so. Unfortunately my partner is allergic to pet hair so we do not have our own pets at our house. To get my animal fix I have been a member of 'borrow my doggy,' where I have regularly walked a number of dogs over the years. I have been trusted to house sit for friends over the years and have cared for dogs, cats and donkeys! I currently work part time so have plenty of availability. I am an avid daily walker so can offer your dog whatever level of exercise they require. As mentioned, I do not board pets in our own home due to my partners allergies. However, I am organized, trustworthy and responsible and have house sat in others homes many times. I will follow your instructions rigidly in regards to the care requirements of your home and pets.
