Experienced Dog Trainer
I focus primarily on dogs with disruptive or harmful behaviors, and have many success stories with dogs with behavioral issues. I use positive reinforcement training and my sessions include personalized exercises focused on changing the behaviors and instilling confidence in both the owner and the dog. I have five years of experience with dog training, as well as an additional ten years working with a diverse group of animals. I studied with the Canine Trade Institute out of Washington DC and was mentored remotely while I ran my own franchise out of Oakland, CA.

What to expect
Consultation
So first I like to go for a walk so i can meet your dog in a neutral environment. It also gives me the chance to see how your pup behaves outside. Then once inside we'll go through a questionnaire so I can get a full picture of the relationship you and your pup share. Then ill explain how my training functions and figure out the personalized service your dog needs. We can either start the first lesson then and there, or schedule for another day!
Sessions
So first we sit down for 20 minutes so i can teach you some basic theory and write out a daily schedule for your dog. Then we'll get to work! In theory I will not be handling your dog but I will be right next to you directing your movements and making sure everything is ship shape. Then I'll be on call and text for the next couple weeks just in case you need help. After 2 weeks you'll see enough results to go forward to lesson 2!
More info
My training is all about boundaries, and teaching the owner how to communicate properly with their dogs. I teach the client how to be confident and use different tactics to make sure the relationship is as harmonious as possible. The first 2 weeks are about resetting the structure and schedule of your dog, and after about 2 or 3 lessons you'll see results!
