Over: I have never pet sitted but I have two amazing doggie girls. Them both are a year apart (10 and 9 years old). They have very different personalities (one very energetic and the other one more chill and even lazy, I could say). This has taught me how to treat them according to their needs and learned how to spend time doing what they love most. Moreover, every single part of my family has a dog and we all bring our dog when the family comes together. We could definitely set up a dog nursery! I have quite a free schedule right now. I am currently taking care of the end of my studies from home and I go for runs at least 3 times in a week. If your dog is sporty he/she could come along for sure! On the other side, depending on how my week looks like I schedule my work and training in order to be able to do other tasks and important activities. NOTICE: I have two dogs but I am Spanish. They do not live with me in the Netherlands! I enjoy spending time outside, so depending on how active your pet is we could be walking around or go to a nice spot to relax. I don’t have much space at home, but yet your dog will have space to rest if they’re tired or they simply want to relax. Of course they will receive a lot of love and attention :)

Over: Ik heb ruim 8 jaar als paraveterinair gewerkt bij verschillende dierenartsen. Inmiddels doe ik al een tijdje wat anders, maar mijn liefde voor dieren is altijd gebleven. Ik woon samen met mijn man en drie kinderen op een boerderij en hebben dus genoeg ruimte voor hondenvisite én logees! Als zzp’er ben ik heel flexibel en veel thuis aanwezig. Ik heb genoeg tijd én ruimte voor het gezelschap en de zorg voor een oppashond. Wij hebben een grote omheinde tuin, een ruime bijkeuken en een knus huis waar genoeg plek is om uit te rusten. Er is een bench aanwezig mocht dit nodig zijn.

“Ann is an amazing pet sitter. We were living in Turkey and we relocated to the Netherlands. When we moved here, we stayed in temporary house for two months and our cats were not allowed to stay in this house. I posted in one of the expat groups on facebook and Ann answered me and we met her. My cats stayed with her for 2 months and she took care of them very well. Over: Al vanaf kinds af aan ben ik omringd geweest met honden en katten. Sinds een aantal maanden heb ik mijn eigen hond, Pip, een ruwharige dwergteckel. Ik geniet van elk moment. Zelf vind ik het prettig om Pip naar iemand toe te brengen wanneer ik een oppas nodig heb. Dat zou ik graag ook willen zijn voor andere dierenvriendjes. Wanneer jouw hondje naar ons huisje komt is plezier, liefde en veel aandacht gegarandeerd! Vanwege onze eigen hond doe ik veel vanuit huis. Jouw harige vriendje zal weinig tot niet alleen zijn en worden overspoeld met aandacht en speelplezier. Ik heb een omheinde tuin, maar ga liever lekker wandelen! We wonen vlak bij het Engelermeer met prachtige natuur. Er is een bench beschikbaar, maar dat zou alleen nodig zijn als ik even buiten de deur moet zijn. Verder hebben wij een kat Lilo en een kleine teckel Pip.

“I asked Sierra to look after my 6 month old Labradoodle puppy Boet. Immediately after I contacted Sierra I felt very comfortable leaving Boet with her. She was super friendly and is experienced when it comes to dog-sitting and handling dogs. She send me videos during the day of a happy Boet, which was nice and comforting to see! What made it even better was her 7 month old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel puppy Lilly. Boet and Lilly were playing all day. Over: Toen ik tien jaar oud was kreeg ik mijn eerste hond. Tot op het laatste moment heb ik haar intensief verzorgd. Acht jaar geleden kwam mijn hond Toby. Ik heb puppytraining met hem gedaan en ik ben nog steeds met hem aan het trainen op straat en in huis. Ik vind dat erg leuk om te doen. Momenteel doe ik een thuisstudie, dat maakt dat ik veel beschikbaar ben om op te passen. Ik heb iedere maandagavond bandrepetitie dus dan kan ik niet, maar verder ben ik heel flexibel. Ik heb zelf een hond Toby, een Toller reutje van 8 jaar. Hij kan goed met andere honden, ook in huis. Voor hem is het ook gezellig. Hij is met een andere hond opgegroeid waardoor het goed gaat.

My house is located in a “natural area”, which offers enough space for the dogs. I will bring the dogs outside for walking and potty 4 times a day. Backyard is also possible if I am in a meeting. During the weekend I will also bring the dogs to the forest nearby. I have a fenced yard no other animals at home. Your dog will be safe and chill in my place. I will send pictures and videos to you every few hours so that you can check the status of your dog.

“Maaike heeft al een aantal keer op honden mogen passen en dat is van beide kanten erg goed bevallen. Het liefste gaat Maaike een grote ronde wandelen in de bossen, de honden (en Maaike) zijn erg enthousiast!! Maaike stuurt regelmatig een fotootje of een filmpje naar de baasjes!
