Over: I recently moved to Groningen from Scotland and I’m looking forward to making some new furry friends here. I’ve grown up with dogs and cared for them at every stage of life, from training playful puppies to supporting senior dogs with patience and care. For over five years I’ve been walking dogs and house sitting for friends and family, looking after pups big and small as well as senior pets. Over: I've looked after pets of every size and type since I was 8, mainly dogs and cats but also tarantulas/rats/hamsters among others. I helped my parents training their puppies, who are now wellbehaved but still love a good roll in the mud or a bit of wrestling. I'm doing a Masters in Psycholofy at the RUG, so while I have a lot of work, it's very flexible, meaning I am able to look after pets at all times of he week. I think it's important that your pet gets comfortable with me, if that means I need to bring a little treat to bribe my way in, I'm happy to do so!

Over: Ik heb sinds ik me kan herinneren voor dieren gezorgd. Mijn eigen katten en hond, maar ook van familie of vreemden. Met ze wandelen of eten geven heb ik vaak gedaan. Ik ben student in Groningen, en heb veel tijd en zeer flexibel. Ik kan makkelijk midden op de dag wandelen en als aan huis oppas nodig is ook nog studeren. Ik heb voor Groningen op het platteland gewoond. Mijn katten hebben dus altijd naar buiten gekund en doen dat ook vaak. Ook mijn hond kan makkelijk de tuin in en lekker vrij rondlopen. Ik houd van met ze knuffelen en aaien.

Over: I have a Teddy dog ​​that's been with me for 5 years. I've cared for it since it was 2 months old, which gives me comprehensive experience in caring for puppies to adult dogs. I'm very good at interpreting canine body language and can immediately detect changes in their emotions and comfort them. I'm currently in school, but I only have classes on Thursdays and Fridays, so I can dedicate the rest of my time to taking care of my dog. I will follow your instructions exactly. I know that maintaining a regular routine is the best way to give our furry friends a sense of security. Besides basic feeding and litter box cleaning, I will use my experience to assess its needs. Over: Vanwege mijn grote liefde voor dieren word ik regelmatig gevraagd om op te passen op de dieren van naasten! Door mijn eigen boef genaamd Rex heb ik heb grote affiniteit met zeer drukke en enthousiaste honden. Ik speel maar al te graag met ze en ik ben gek op wandelen! Ik heb ervaring met (grote) honden die aan de riem trekken. Mijn liefde voor- en ervaring met honden stopt niet bij de drukke boefjes. Door mijn eigen hond genaamd Stella en mijn ervaring als vrijwilliger bij het dierenasiel, heb ik verder ook ervaring met senioren en met honden met een gebruiksaanwijzing! Ik ben ook gek op katten en ben daar het grootste gedeelte van mijn leven ook mee omringt! Verder ben ik erg flexibel! Laat mij weten hoe ik u kan helpen en dan zorg ik daarvoor! Ik werk part-time en volg daarnaast een studie. Dit maakt dat ik zeer flexibel ben en kan voldoen aan uw benodigdheden! Iedere maandag, woensdag en de weekenddagen ben ik zonder meer beschikbaar! Donderdagen en vrijdagen kunnen - indien nodig - ook geregeld worden! Vanwege de hoeveelheid ruimte die ik heb, is het helaas niet mogelijk om honden of katten bij mij thuis te ontvangen. Als ik bij u zou oppassen dan gaat dit vanzelfsprekend op de wijze dat u dit het meest prettig vindt!

Over: My family has had dogs ever since I can remember. At this moment, we have 3 dogs back home which I was very involved with their care while growing up, and still am when I visit for the holidays/ summer. I believe my experience with animals is very vast, since my family has a farm, and I was exposed to many different animals and behaviours. Due to my hometown having a huge stray problem, I also know how to handle more aggressive dogs, read body language and respect personal boundaries, which many times is overlooked. If you are looking for a pet sitter/ dog walker I believe I am a great choice :) (I don’t have any pets in Groningen sadly) I am currently on my 2nd year of master studies, but due to my course selection I have a very flexible schedule, so with good communication we can always find a time that works for you too. I will always ask the owner for their advice and try to follow it, since they know their pet much better. However, no matter how friendly the dog seems, I always take my time to form a connection with the dog, so they can feel safe around me, especially if I’m the one in their home.

Over: I was born in a farm with an animal loving family, we had all sorts of animals such as cats, dogs, birds... I took care of pets for as longer as I remember, I love being with animals and will always makes sure they get all the care and attention they deserve. ☺️ I'm currently a student, but most of my classes finish early in the morning so my schedule is quite free and flexible, thus, usually most of the weekdays and weekends I'm free to take care of your lovely pet, even late at night. I'm experienced with pets, I would always keep a watch on them and keep them close to me, I even have an AirTag that I can put on the pet collar to locate the pet in case of any urgent situation only under the consent of the owner of course.

Over: I am patient and love spending time with pets. Also, I love outdoors so I have so much energy to play with pets and make them happy. I have a flexible time schedule as a PhD student. If you could tell me the service time ahead of time I can organize my arrangements. If I care your pets at your home. Firstly, I will play with pets in the morning , afternoon and evening for an hour respectively. Second, feed pets and clean pets' things. Thirdly, after I complete the service, I will clean the house and make it as before.

Over: Hay ik ben melanie en ik ben 18 jaar zolang ik me kan herinderen hebben wij altijd honden gehad nu heb ik zelf ook een pupp die is 9 maand en zorg daar zeker goed voor ik ben een echte dierenvriend omdat dieren meer van mensen houden dan van zich zelf heb je liefde voor het beestje nodig anders zou het beestje ook niet lief zijn verder hebben wij ook altijd katten gehad en ging dat gezamenlijk heel erg goed ik hou van spelen en knuffelen en een stukje lopen vind ik geen probleem dat is meestal het leukste uitne van de dag dat doe ik met mijn hond denk ik 3 a 4x perdag aangezien ze goed zindelijk is! Ik ben Willemijn, 31 jaar en ik woon in Groningen. Ik ben met honden en katten opgegroeid tot ik uit huis ging. Op dit moment zijn mijn vriend en ik er nog niet aan toe om een huisdier te nemen en mis ik het hebben van een maatje enorm. Ik houd van knuffelen, wandelen en spelen, het geeft mij energie. Op dit moment volg ik een thuisstudie Fysiotherapie en met een goede WiFi verbinding kan ik daarom vanaf elke plek studeren, waar en wanneer ik wil. Daarom ben ik erg flexibel en kan ik snel op locatie zijn. Ik ben gewend om met honden te leven, zowel met puppy’s als met oudere honden. Ook ben ik gewend om met een kat te leven, mijn ouders hadden altijd een erg lieve kat in huis. In mijn ouderlijk huis liet ik de hond(en) 2 keer per dag uit en maakte ik geregeld lange wandelingen of fietstochten. Unfortunately I don't live big enough to have a pet at the moment and miss having a buddy so much. I love cuddling, walking and playing, it gives me energy. At the moment I am doing a home study Physiotherapy and with a good WiFi connection I can therefore study from anywhere, wherever and whenever I want. That is why I am very flexible and I can be on location quickly. I am used to living with dogs, with puppies and older dogs. Over: I grew up with 3 pets in the house and worked at an animal sanctuary farm throughout Highschool where i cared for rescue animals including aged and injured dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals. I’m a university student so other than my classes, which are not everyday or all day , my schedule is very flexible and I can work around the pet care. While I can’t offer my home, I am very respectful of your home am very adaptable to new environments. I am able to crate your pets and follow specific instructions accurately.

Onderhand woon ik op mezelf helaas zonder huisdieren en lijkt dit me de perfecte manier om toch nog mijn liefde voor dieren te uiten! Stuur me gerust een berichtje als je vragen hebt!! Liefs Bente Hi! Ik ben Bente en woon sinds een maandje in een studentenhuis in Groningen. Ik ben rond dieren opgegroeid, van katten en honden tot kippen, maar woon nu helaas zonder huisdieren. Helaas zijn er binnen mijn huishouden allergieën voor huisdieren en bied ik dus geen overnachting aan. Wel ben ik er voor oppas thuis en als uitlaat service!

Over: Ik heb sinds mijn 8e een hond gehad thuis, en liet die altijd meerdere keren per dag uit met veel plezier. Sinds ik naar Groningen ben verhuisd pas ik wel eens op de hond van de buren.
