Over: Wij zijn een internationaal stel en echte hondenliefhebbers. Sinds een jaar hebben we onze eigen Labradoodle (1 jaar en 4 maanden), waarmee we drie puppycursussen hebben gevolgd. Hij is sociaal, energiek en gewend om dagelijks met andere honden om te gaan. We gaan elke dag naar het hondenpark waar hij minimaal 30 tot 60 minuten losloopt en speelt. In het weekend maken we graag langere wandelingen in het bos of de natuur. Het lijkt ons leuk om dit ook met andere honden te doen die goed sociaal zijn en genieten van beweging en aandacht. We hebben ervaring met honden van jongs af aan—van een Jack Russell in onze jeugd tot nu onze eigen hond. We begrijpen hoe belangrijk het is dat jouw hond zich veilig, ontspannen en gezien voelt. Daarom geven we persoonlijke aandacht en zorgen we voor een fijne, actieve dag. We spreken Engels thuis, maar ook Nederlands is geen probleem. Belangrijk: We passen het beste op honden die sociaal zijn met andere honden en zich comfortabel voelen in een actieve, open omgeving. Wij werken beide fulltime, maar in de weekenden zijn we vrijwel altijd thuis en actief met onze hond. In het dagelijks leven staan we vroeg op voor een goede ochtendwandeling, gevolgd door eten en voldoende rust. Over de dag verspreid gaan we elke 2 tot 4 uur naar buiten voor korte rondes, en maken we dagelijks minimaal één langere wandeling van 30 tot 60 minuten in een losloopgebied. Onze eigen hond (een jonge, energieke Labradoodle) gaat vaak mee naar een kantoor vlak naast ons appartement, waardoor hij zelden alleen is. In de weekenden richten we ons volledig op de honden: lange wandelingen, spelen en aandacht staan centraal. Jouw hond zal dus volop beweging, structuur en gezelschap krijgen. Wij wonen in een rustige, hondvriendelijke omgeving met veel wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt, waaronder een losloopgebied waar honden veilig kunnen rennen en spelen. Ons appartement is compact (ongeveer 50 m²), maar doordat we meerdere keren per dag naar buiten gaan en dagelijks lange wandelingen maken, krijgen honden ruim voldoende beweging en prikkels. Onze eigen hond is sociaal en gewend om met andere honden om te gaan, wat zorgt voor een fijne en speelse sfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat elke hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom houden we rekening met het karakter, energieniveau en de behoeften van jouw hond. We bieden structuur, duidelijke routines en voldoende rustmomenten naast het spelen en wandelen. Voor de veiligheid letten we goed op interacties tussen honden en kiezen we bewust voor honden die sociaal zijn en goed samen kunnen. Indien nodig kunnen we honden gescheiden houden of extra rust bieden.

Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf niet adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders z’n hondje te passen! Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler en een Maltezer. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor hondjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je hond, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je hond in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Ik woon op 40 m² met een tuin. Voor hele grote honden is mijn woning daardoor waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾 Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis en ben daardoor veel aanwezig. Huisdieren zijn dus zelden lang alleen. Mijn planning is flexibel en ik ben over het algemeen veel thuis, waardoor er genoeg tijd is voor wandelingen, speeltijd, rustmomenten en verzorging. Overdag stuur ik ook graag af en toe een update of foto, zodat je weet hoe het met je dier gaat. Ik woon op de begane grond aan een rustige, autovrije straat en heb tevens een volledig omheind tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen. Ik heb zelf geen honden of katten, waardoor jouw dier alle aandacht krijgt. Daarnaast is er veel groen in de buurt en zijn er verschillende parken op loopafstand.

In the past years, I regularly sat with my friend's cats and dogs when they traveled, and helped with neighbors' pets too. I love and care deeply about pets and always take the best care of them, so you can be sure your pet will be in the best hands. I'm currently working part-time and working from home. My schedule is very flexible, and I am free on weekends. I can also stay overnight or on holidays if needed. Over: As a family, We like to cuddle dogs, walk with them in the nature- we took care of friends& neighbours dogs. Parents had dogs too I have flexible schedule at home, my kids are back at 3.30 pm on weekdays and this is the best time for playdate but i can personally do walk dogs before that. Weekends are free for dogs care too I have a fencied bakyard garden. We live along the canal. My 7 ans 9 yo kids love to play with dogs too. Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.

I'm originally from China, where I had a Papillon named Sanbao and an American Shorthair tabby named Bawan, who's now seven years old. Over: Van jongs af aan ben ik gek op honden! Liefst honden waar je lang mee kunt wandelen, rennen en spelen. Energiek. Ik ben via mijn ouders, familie en vrienden veel in aanmerking gekomen met honden. Pas nu ook regelmatig op en loop met een hond voor de organisatie Dierenbuddy. Momenteel zit ik tussen twee banen in en ben ik meer thuis. Ik doe vrijwilligerswerk, maar heb veel uren over. Deze besteedt ik al veel buiten (in het bos). Aangezien ik veel van honden houd hoop ik die twee te kunnen combineren! Ik woon in een appartement op steenworp afstand van een hondenlosloopgebied. Voor een langere wandeling steek ik zo door naar het grote bos Den Treek. Thuis zou een hond ook even kunnen vertoeven, maar we gaan natuurlijk vooral naar buiten.

This means your pet will almost always have one of us around! Sam grew up with a Labrador and cats, so caring for animals has always been part of his life. 🦮🐈 We live in a cozy (37m²) studio in Amsterdam-East, right next to Park Frankendael. Because of our studio setup, our home is best suited for small to medium-sized companion dogs. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to accept large guardian types, mastiffs, or large bull breeds like Pit Bulls, Staffies, and Rottweilers. There is plenty of green space nearby for walks (Ring Dijk, Weesperzijde) 🌲 There is also parking available next to the apartment. If allowed, we love going on longer walks, including trips to the Amsterdam Forest or past nearby cafés. Of course, we always follow your rules and only take pets to places where they are comfortable. Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. Ik vind het belangrijk dat dieren zich veilig, rustig en vertrouwd voelen. Daarom kijk ik goed naar hun behoeften en geef ik ieder dier persoonlijke aandacht. De aanwezigheid van honden mis ik enorm en daarom geef ik honden en katten met veel liefde, geduld en aandacht een warm thuis. Missschien tot snel! 😊 Ik werk voornamelijk vanuit huis, waardoor de verzorging van huisdieren perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine past. Mijn dagen kan ik flexibel indelen zodat er voldoende tijd is voor uitlaten, spelen, rustmomenten en persoonlijke aandacht. Daarnaast maak ik graag wandelingen in de dichtbijgelegen bossen en prachtige duinen, zodat honden voldoende beweging, frisse lucht en ontspanning krijgen. Ik verzorg huisdieren in een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving met veel persoonlijke aandacht. In mijn ruime huis en omheinde tuin kunnen honden vrij rennen, spelen en ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik twee aparte kamers ingericht: één voor honden met matten en speeltjes, en één voor katten met een speel- en klimhoek waar zij zich veilig kunnen terugtrekken. Meerdere keren per dag maken we fijne wandelingen en tussendoor zijn er voldoende rustmomenten, zodat dieren zich ontspannen en vertrouwd kunnen voelen.

I went from not knowing much about cats to truly loving their company every day. I also cared for a friend's three cats during her vacation (feeding, medicine, and cleaning). In Wageningen, I've done multiple home visits. For boarding at my place, your cat can stay in my room or explore the corridor. 💕 My style I give cuddles but also space. I read animal body language carefully and never force interaction. Safety always comes first. I can give medicine if you provide clear instructions (paper or PDF for anything complex). 🏠 House sitting & doggy day care I live in student housing with roommates, but I'm the only one who will care for your pet. My typical day: morning feed, then a long walk plus ball play, then nap. Some dogs need three walks (afternoon and before bed). For cats: litter, grooming, play, and evening feed. Evenings are for movies, pets are very welcome on my bed, even big dogs, for lap time and cuddles. 📸 Updates I never leave pets alone for long periods. I'll send regular photos so you can relax. Since I can't have my own pet yet, I truly look forward to caring for yours. Walks, boarding, sitting, vacation care – whatever works for you. Walks & cat home visits: I'm available before and after classes, and often can work from home too. My schedule is adaptable, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. My home & roommates I live on a student floor, and my roommates have given me permission to bring a pet. It's completely allowed and not a disturbance. The dog or cat will stay in my room. When I go to the kitchen, they might see my roommates (who usually enjoy it) but I'm the only one taking care of them! :) Preferences I prefer dogs that are house-trained because I live in a building. For cats, they are welcome to stay in my room or explore the corridor if they are comfortable doing so. Dog walks – what I need from you Please provide a sturdy leash and snacks in case your dog is not comfortable around other dogs. Over: Saying I’m good with dogs would be an understatement. I’ve had dogs all my life and the only reason I don’t have one myself right now is because I’m studying medicine and I don’t have the time. I’ve worked for a dog walking company for about a year which I absolutely adored, but also couldn’t keep doing due to my studies. I’ve trained my Old German Shepherd dog (who lives with my parents) through a trainer and learned how to train dogs quite well. Through the dog walking company I also got to be a dog sitter multiple times, for multiple days at a time. Most dogs trust me from the moment they meet me, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I combine genuine love for dogs with real hands on experience, training knowledge, and a calm, trustworthy presence dogs naturally respond to. Having worked professionally as both a dog walker and a sitter, I’m very comfortable handling responsibility, routine and unexpected situations. Whether it’s a young energetic dog that needs structure and routine, or an older or more sensitive pup that needs patience and reassurance, I naturally adjust to what the dog needs. I also genuinely love spending time with dogs. Even though medicine takes up most of my time right now, dogs have always been the thing that grounds me and brings me joy. That means that when I care for someone’s dog, I don’t just do it as a side job, I do it with real attention and enthusiasm. You can rest assured: your dog will be safe with me. I’m currently working part time and studying full time until the end of june 2026.I will adjust my schedule based on the needs of your dog, meaning that when I accept your pet sitting request, caring for your dog will be the center of my attention. I care for your pet in whatever way you want or need me to! I live on the ground floor with no roommates, in a 42 square meter apartment. I have the Amsterdamse Bos at just walking distance and will always make time for a long walk once a day.
