Over: I've taken care of pets and animals my entire life ranging in age, breed, size and disability needs. Growing up on a farm gave me a real practical experience in that. Just like you, I love pets and believe that meeting their needs is important. I currently study from home and most of the time have online classes. My time and attention can absolutely and wholy be given to your pet. I live in a flat in a city center. This does provide some limitations, but i am young and atheletic person who is more than happy taking your pet outside to wherever you'd like.

Over: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, and friends and neighbors have always trusted me with their pets because I genuinely love being around animals and understand that every pet has its own personality and needs. I have experience caring for everything from playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior pets who need a little more patience and attention. I also have plenty of experience with cats. I currently have a kitty of my own and grew up in a home with two cats, so I’m very comfortable understanding their behavior, boundaries, routines, and individual needs. I always adapt the day to the individual pet. With energetic dogs, we can enjoy long walks, runs in the park, playtime, or practice commands and basic training. More sensitive or older pets can have a quieter routine with gentle walks, plenty of rest, reassurance, and attention. My daily care includes consistent feeding times, regular outdoor breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of companionship. I have a hybrid work schedule and currently work from the office three days per week. On those days, I am usually away from home for approximately 7–8 hours. The rest of the week I work mainly from home, which allows me to spend much more time with the pets in my care. I always discuss this schedule in advance so we can make sure it is suitable for your pet, particularly for puppies, senior dogs, or animals that are not comfortable being left alone for longer periods. I’m also comfortable following medication routines and caring for pets with additional or special needs, as long as I’m given clear instructions about their usual routine. My apartment is quiet, safe, and pet-friendly, with plenty of open space for pets to move around, play, and find a comfortable place to relax. I also have a small terrace, but for safety reasons I normally don’t allow pets outside on it. My goal is to make every pet feel secure and comfortable while they’re away from their owner. They won’t simply be supervised. They’ll be treated with patience, affection, respect, and genuine care. No matter how busy my schedule could get there is always time for two or sometimes tree walk around the park plus a lot of belly rubs and hugs. I live in an apartment on the second floor. The balcony is with a high fence where usually pets are not allowed. I have only one cat that is well behaved and usually is not bothered by anything.

Over: Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son and my American bully size pocket, named Bully, a very special member of the family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: i have a dog living in my home. For this reason, every dog staying with me will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog. I have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. The garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because i have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. I start by checking how each dog is feeling: their mood, energy, any special needs, medication or skin care. Every dog has their own rhythm, and I follow that rhythm naturally. Throughout the day, I make sure we have at least three walks, always adapted to what each pup enjoys. Some love exploring every corner, others prefer short and peaceful walks and even when the ground is wet, the routine continues, because they need that time outside. If the weather allows it, the safe backyard becomes the favourite spot: playtime, running, sniffing around and relaxing in the sun. After every outdoor moment, I clean their paws so they stay comfortable and tidy. I like to balance physical play with mental stimulation, which I find very important. Search games, small challenges, individual attention… and of course, plenty of allowed laziness. Here, every pup rests whenever they want, without pressure. In my home, getting on the sofa is allowed and cuddles in bed too, but always discussed with the owners first, I don’t want to create habits that don’t fit each family. If I’m caring for a dog in their own home, I keep the same routine: walks, playtime, hygiene, attention and respect for the family’s space. I’m a true dog mum, and I treat every guest with the same affection I give my own dog. At the end of the day, seeing each dog calm, safe and happy is what moves me, it’s the feeling that I’m on the right path.😊

Over: Hoi! Ik ben Sylwia. Ik ben 22 jaar oud, en heb altijd met mijn hele hart van dieren gehouden. Ik heb ook altijd van allerlei soorten dieren gehad. Parkietjes, honden (groot en klein), katten en noem maar op. Ik ben zeer geinteresseerd in hoe je het beste dieren kan verzorgen. Mijn hond is laatst overleden, en ik ben nu niet in staat om een nieuwe huisdier te nemen. Daarom wil ik graag voor andere diertjes zorgen, zodat ik mijn liefde daarin kan stoppen! ❤️ Ik ben ervaren, heb altijd vooral honden gehad. Ik vind het leuk om ze te trainen en mijn aandacht in te stoppen. Uitlaten heb ik ook al mijn hele leven gedaan, en mis het heel erg! Ik werk 27 uur per week. Ik begin al vroeg in de ochtend, en heb op maandag en vrijdag al het tijd sinds 11 uur! Op dinsdag, woensdag en donderdag werk ik nog 2,5 uurtjes erbij van 17:30-20.00. In het weekend ben ik allebei de dagen beschikbaar. :) Ik heb een best flinke achtertuin, en heb ook twee katten (ze zijn niet van mij). Veel plek om te spelen en een rustige buurt waar ik hondjes kan uitlaten met veel groen. Ook zou ik het leuk vinden om de hondjes mee te nemen naar de bos voor een wandeling!

Over: I have had a German Shepard for all of my childhood who I took care of daily, walking her everyday and taking care of her. In her older years her back legs became paralysed so she had to use a wheelchair, so I have a lot of experience with older dogs who are not in their full mobility. Now recently for the past year I have got a Labrador puppy, who is full of energy, and not easy to walk, so I have a lot of experience with younger dogs as well who are not fully trained yet. I also have lived in a household with two cats, so I have experience of taking care of them and even walking a cat on a leash. I do not have a preference for kinds of dogs or cats, I approve of them all. I’m a student, so my schedule varies from week to week, but I have a lot of flexibility and availability. My classes usually only take up part of the day, and I also have days with no classes at all. This allows me to easily plan pet care around my schedule and make plenty of time for your pet. I’m also fully available on weekends! I always make sure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Before taking a pet for a walk, I make sure I fully understand their individual needs, routines, and anything I should avoid, and I keep this in mind throughout the walk. I live in an apartment without a balcony, but I’m happy to take pets outside for regular walks and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

I am a calm, patient, and responsible person, and I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Because every animal has a different personality and routine, I always adapt my care depending on their needs and energy level.

A typical day with me includes regular walks, playtime, feeding based on the owner’s instructions, lots of attention, and a calm environment where pets can relax comfortably. Walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the dog. Pets are never left alone for very long periods, and I always make sure they are supervised carefully indoors and outdoors. I am comfortable onwith shy or anxious dogs and try to help them feel secure with patience and gentle attention. I can also follow specific routines, feeding schedules, and basic training instructions from owners. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel relaxed while away from their pets.

Safety is very important to me. I keep a clean and pet-safe environment at home and stay calm and responsible in unexpected situations or emergencies. For safety reasons, I prefer vaccinated pets.

Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving.

I understand that pets are family members, and I will always care for them with love, patience, and responsibility as if they were my own 🐾 I’m currently a student and only have classes three days a week, usually just one class per day. My schedule is quite flexible, and when I do go out, I’m rarely away from home for more than 3–4 hours at a time. I live in a comfortable and quiet apartment with enough space for pets to relax and feel at home. I keep the environment clean and safe, and there are no other pets in my home. I always follow the owner’s routine and instructions and make sure their pet gets plenty of attention and feels comfortable.
