My hobbies fit very well with any kind of pets: I can relax at home cuddling them all day, I can take endless walks, or run with them but surely cuddles are not gonna be missing! I've been taking care of dogs for years now, from small to bigger size, I also take care of cats but less often. My main experience has been with a chihuahua and a lagotto romagnolo between others, I am missing having pets around me for a while now and that's the reason why I would like to help someone and enjoy and take care of someone else's pet! Over: Ik heb vroeger vaak op de huisdieren van mijn familie en vrienden gezorgd of opgepast. Ik ben dol op dieren, heb veel geduld en ben totaal niet bang voor ze. Ik studeer alleen 2x per week (max 8 uur per week) en werk ook 1x de week. Ik heb daarom veel vrije tijd en ben ook vaak thuis. Leuke aandacht geven aan jouw huisdier past daarom perfect in mijn routine. Ik woon alleen in een studio en heb meer dan genoeg ruimte voor een kleine huisdier. De Oude Warande is praktisch mijn achtertuin. Ik ga daar vaak heen om te chillen of sporten en neem jouw huisdier graag mee.

Vroeger was ik vrijwilliger bij een asiel en hielp ik ook met het trainen van honden ..Natuurlijk heb ik geen probleem met het verzorgen van een hond die meer aandacht nodig heeft (medicatie, allergieën)🐕 Ik woon naast een bos, dus als je vriend van wandelen houdt, ben je hier aan het juiste adres! dagopvang, logeren of gewoon uitlaten Alles is beschikbaar! Ik heb mijn hele leven al contact gehad met honden en ook met andere dieren (katten, konijnen, hamsters), maar het waren de honden die mijn hart hebben gestolen! "een huis zonder hond is als een tuin zonder bloemen"🐶Als de hond gelukkig is, kan de baasje ook ontspannen! ☺️ momenteel werk jk parttime en vanuit huis, dus ik heb genoeg tijd en zin om dieren te verzorgen! Ik ben beschikbaar doordeweeks en ook weekenden! Ik heb geen tuin, maar wel een terras waar uw huisdier lekker in de zon kan liggen. Naast het huis ligt een bos en een grote hondenren.

Over: Hi! I’m Joana, and I work as mechanical engineer living in Eindhoven. While my professional background is in engineering, animals have always been my true passion. Since childhood I always loved animals, and grew up with both dogs and cats. However, my first pet was a free-roaming rabbit named Maria who slept in my room and acted more like a dog than a bunny. I grew up in Portugal, where I became deeply involved in animal rescue in my hometown, where unfortunately there are a lot of stray animals. I fostered my first cat at 15 (it took a lot of convincing my parents!), and since then, I’ve cared for over 30 foster cats, many of them neonates or sick rescues, including pregnant cats that I've assisted during birth. Because of all of this, I am well versed in dealing with most cat illnesses, and I have a special needs cat myself :) I also worked closely with the local shelter in Portugal, supporting TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs, walking shelter dogs, and socializing shy or traumatized animals. Unfortnately, after moving to the Netherlands, I couldn't foster anymore, since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow that, but I do have 3 furr babies that I love more than words can express. However, I still volunteer at the shelter (ROZE) every Sunday where I clean the cat spaces, check health, and help socialize “spicy” cats and kittens. I know from experience how hard it can be to leave your pet at home while you're on holidays and how difficult it can be to find a trustworthy sitter for your pet. I truly think of pets as family members and treat them as such, so you can expect a lot of dedication from my side, and the comfort of knowing that your pet is in safe hands. I provide home visits, dog walks, and overnight stays depending on your needs. I'm especially comfortable with shy, senior, or special-needs animals, and I always treat pets with love, patience, and respect. Over: Since the day I was born I was surrounded by all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, horses…) All of my family members are big animal lovers, therefore I grew up also like one :) In lithuania I had two amazing dogs, but after I came to the Netherlands for my studies, I really started missing the interaction with those increadibly friendly and amazing beings. That is why I am looking to “babysit” dogs here - simply to experience the same joy I was experiencing back home, while also helping out other people that don’t have as much time to give to their beloved little friends :) I’m currently working in a hybrid way, which means that I am home on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and sometimes Mondays, so I would have a lot of time to bond and spend time with the little friend :) I live in an apartment with a balkony. The balcony is never being left open and during colder seasons, it doesn’t even get opened at all, so would be no fear of pets escaping or injuring themselves. Here in the Netherlands I don’t have any pets. The apartment has 3 rooms, so the pet would have space to have fun and explore :)

 Note: We don't accept bookings that are over a month in advance, this is because we have family living abroad and we need to keep our schedule flexible. Apologies for the inconvenience. At the moment I work 4 days a week, on Tuesday I usually go to the office. So I’m home a lot too looking forward to after your pet. I live on the second floor of an apartment in Breda with my boyfriend. The apartment is 90m² and has a balcony. We live close to the park and enjoy walking.
