Over: I'm an Animal Science student whose main goal right now is to fund my education while ideally spending as much time as possible with furry (or bald lol) friends! I miss my angel doggos and have plenty of love to give :). I have both professional and personal experience caring for animals. I pet sit for friends whenever they're out of town and my last job was at a vet (abroad) where I assisted with a wide range of animals! I therefore know how to respond in case of an emergency. Welcoming a stranger into your home can be daunting however I can assure you that your pets and home will recieve the utmost care and respect. Clear and swift communcation is to be expected and regular media and text updates will be provided. This is something that I enjoy doing and I look forward to caring for animals for the forseeable future and beyond. Thank you for your time and consideration! My schedule is flexible so I'm happy to adapt to your busy schedule! Taking care of your pets will be my main priority so their needs will always be taken into account. Before confirming the booking your daily routines with your pet will be discussed. I will of course adhere to the predetermined routines such as feeding schedules (and rituals for picky cats) and walking routes/times for your dogs. Any training habits will be maintained and I promise patience for pets with behavioural issues. I consider enrichment a basic need but your pets will set those boundaries. Once they are willing to play, so am I! Listening to the non-verbal cues that our pets give is a very important part of animal care. If you only have one pet extra play time will be given.

Over: Ik ben een grote dierenvriend, thuis ben ik opgegroeid met allemaal verschillende dieren, maar honden zijn altijd wel mijn grootste liefde geweest. Bij mijn ouders thuis hebben we nu nog twee honden, maar sinds ik het huis uit ben gegaan krijg ik ze helaas wat minder te zien. Nu mis ik het wel een beetje om lekker te kunnen wandelen of te kunnen knuffelen met een hondje. Ik heb zelf veel ervaring met honden, ik heb vroeger in zomers vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij asielen en verder hebben wij vroeger thuis asielhonden uit Spanje opgevangen, dus ik heb ook wat ervaring met honden die wat meer onzeker zijn. Ik ben beschikbaar voor huisbezoeken en wandelingen. De dagen dat ik beschikbaar ben, zijn wel afwisselend vanwege mijn studie en werk. Doordeweeks zou ik in middag kunnen langskomen en in het weekend zou ik in de ochtend en middag langs kunnen komen. Ik weet dat elke hond anders is en elke hond een eigen persoonlijkheid heeft, dus ik snap ook dat elke hond aandacht op zijn eigen manier krijgt. Ik bespreek graag met het baasje af wat de hond nodig heeft.

Over: I trained by my self my German Sheppard at the short age of 5. At home there has always been at least 3 to 4 dogs at all times. I am a student which has free time during the week. I also really enjoy animals. Besides dogs, I love horses, cats and birds. I grew up with all of them back home. I will play with them and make sure they have enough snacks, if it’s okay with the client. I will also make sure to take them on walks and if needed to do some practices of what they are learning in school. Zit, roll…

Over: Al van jongs af aan hebben we huisdieren gehad, van vogels tot konijnen en van hond tot kat. Ik vind bijna alle dieren leuk en geef ze graag een fijne tijd als het eigen baasje er even niet is. Ik heb ervaring op gedaan met grotere honden (rottweiler en herders oa), het trainen van puppy’s en het aanleren van gewenst gedrag in het algemeen oa door vrijwilligerswerk bij een hondenuitlaatservice en een blindengeleidenhondenschool. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een dier zich op zijn gemak voelt en lekker zijn eigen ding kan doen. Maar lekker knuffelen en uitgebreid spelen hoort daar zeker ook bij! Ik werk parttime en heb daarnaast wat tijd over om voor dieren te zorgen. Zeker een lekkere wandeling zo af en toe zou goed voor me zijn. Ik heb een flexibel rooster, dus elke week is mijn beschikbaarheid anders. Stuur gerust een berichtje om te overleggen. Ik woon zelf in een flat met balkon en lift, samen met mijn partner en kat. De kat vind honden nog een beetje spannend, maar ze geeft dit goed aan en zal voornamelijk een rustig plekje opzoeken. Als een hond vaker komt wordt ze wat nieuwsgieriger en komt ze kennismaken. Mocht de hond bij ons overnachten zal de bench in een andere ruimte staan dan waar de kat overnacht, zodat ze geen last van elkaar hebben.
