We unfortunately didn’t have a good experience. My dog has separation anxiety and he’s very active. Zach was not able to handle my dog due to this and while on vacation I had to coordinate with Rover for a new sitter. Sadly it really was very stressful and I spent several hours two days in a row responding to messages to him, Rover and my new sitter. I gave the low down on my dog at drop off and I thought we were on the same page but as soon as my flight landed I was bombarded with messages to find alternative arrangements, we had only been gone half a day at this point. I gave many ideas to help Zach work with my dog, as he was barking, chewing, separation anxiety, trying to get out of his kennel (he ended up with scrapes and scabs all over his muzzle), such as giving him tasks, something to chew on, telling him the commands I use etc, but he didn’t indicate if he tried anything or not to help my dog feel calmer and behave better. I fully understand my boy is a handful, but others have watches him with success. Fortunately the next Rover sitter loved him, and was able to help him calm down. I think Zach would have been fine if it was an easier to watch dog, but probably not a good fit for a dog that needs any attention that accompanies many working breeds.

Zach always does an amazing job when it comes to watching my crazy dogs! I am so grateful to have found him!
