I have been volunteering at multiple shelter/rescue organizations for several years and have extensive experience with all sizes, breeds and dispositions. I have been the lead trainer at a shelter with troubled dogs and look forward to meeting your family member soon!

I have a love for all animals but dogs especially, and my experience has taught me that dogs recognize this in people. Whatever your needs are I can accommodate, whether that be just a walk, playing, training or just hanging around and loving!

Yascha has been doing regular walks with our dogs for a few weeks now. Dogs are super excited when he arrives. Yascha has been very responsive and has been accommodating to all requests (harness type, protective dog clothing in inclimate weather, wiping dogs feet etc). Would definitely recommend Yascha!

Yascha was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond our expectations! He took excellent care of both of our dogs—our elderly pup with occasional seizures and arthritis, as well as our energetic 1-year-old. He took our puppy to the dog park every day, gave our older dog his meds, and kept our home tidy. Yascha was also very communicative, sending us pictures and videos throughout his stay, and even gave our puppy a bath after the park when needed. His genuine love for dogs is clear, and his experience really shows—he volunteers at a shelter, and it was evident in how well he cared for our pups. We are so grateful!
Yascha is super awesome! My dog loves him! He was very attentive with Xander and gave him lots of attention and care. He sent me daily pictures and was a great communicator. I would definitely hire Yascha again. 🐶
I've volunteered with Yascha M. for about 4 years, walking dogs and helping with events at an animal shelter. I have also joined him and a group of friends, walking dogs together. As a volunteer he has always been dependable, respectful, cooperative, and easy going with others. He's very patient with dogs and has a calm, confident demeanor that translates into pleasant and safe dog walking. He continues to learn from a variety of trainers who do training lessons online and discuss dog behaviors. It is clear how much he cares for animals, community and the environment. Yascha is the only person in Hastings who I have trusted to care for my dog Rocket when I have been away. We have been dog walking partners for close to two years, for a shelter and socially. Schedule
I work 4 AM - Noon, Sunday-Thursday and am available anytime after work. I do still try and volunteer on my days off but am flexible!
