Hey there! I'm new to Rover, but I'm definitely not new to caring for pets! To help build trust and get to know this amazing community, happy to do a meet and greet first, just reach out ;) I’ve been caring for cats for 4 years and live in LA with my British Shorthair (his name is Tomas!) As a cat mom, I understand how special (and particular!) cats can be. I’m great at respecting their space, giving them love when they want it, and making sure they feel safe and happy. Whether your fur baby is playful or prefers a quiet companion, I’ve got it covered.

Tomas (my cat) lives with me and my husband in a single family home with a backyard. He is a bit shy and really enjoys having the place to himself. Because of that, I don’t usually host other furry friends here. I’m not offering boarding at the moment, but I’m open to it in the future depending on how things go.
Ratings and reviews
Xiuwen was absolutely wonderful with my cat! She went above and beyond, not only making sure all the basics were taken care of, but also paying close attention to small details like cleaning the food area, refreshing the water frequently, and keeping everything spotless and sending regular and detailed updates. My cat usually takes a few days to warm up to new people, but clearly felt comfortable and cared for from day one. I could tell my cat was in the best hands. I can’t recommend Xiuwen highly enough!
Xiuwen is a truthfully pet lover. As the mom of Tomas, who is a 5 years old cat, she always remembers to feed him on time with enough food and play with him with his favorite toy to make him enjoyable everyday when she is available. Additionally, she grooms Tomas periodically to help reducing the number of cat vomiting his hairball. Tomas really likes her, so does other lovely pets of my friends, who will occasionally comes and visit her place. She treats other pets the same as her "son" Tomas, spreading the same love and time on them. Not only she takes good care of cats, but also doggy too. She had been having a dog for couple years before coming to U.S. I would suggest Xiuwen as pet caregiver if you have such need. :)

She has a calm, nurturing presence that animals instantly respond to, and she takes the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether she’s walking dogs with care and energy or giving cats the quiet attention and affection they crave, Xiuwen always goes the extra mile. She’s incredibly reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy—someone I’d feel completely confident leaving my pets with. I would trust her with my pets any day—highly recommended!

Schedule
I'm usually free on weekends, and weekdays after 6pm work well for me too. My schedule can be flexible, and I’m happy to work around what suits you best!
