Safety, trust & environment

I have a large home with a fenced yard and a very friendly dog lives here with me…lots of dog toys and my playful dog, though getting old, loves to be in the company of other dogs…my dog…a 10 year old 50 pound hound who is visually impaired…does not have an aggressive bone in his body…best dog I’ve ever had but I find myself saying that about every dog I’ve had…lots of people think their dog is The. Best. Dog. Ever…and they’re all 100% correct…no such thing as a bad dog unless he’s with a bad owner…l never met a dog I didn’t like.

Information William R. would like to know about your pet

Your dog, of course, will need to be accepted by my dog…and my dog is friendly with just about every dog he meets…that can not be necessarily said about all other dogs, however so I require a meet and greet between my dog and your dog before I can accept you as a client…I think that’s in the best interest of all the dogs.

A typical day

Your dog will have lots of toys to play with and lots of games in my backyard…he’ll get as much attention as I give my own dog, Whiskey…. I prefer the dogs to sleep with me on my enormous California King bed and will coax them up unless you tell me not to set that precedent…you will receive daily updates about your dog’s time spent in my care…how he’s eating…how he’s sleeping…how he’s getting along with any other dogs who might be here…photos often included.

Pet care experience

Dogs…God’s Best Creation…they are everything humans should be…unconditionally loving…extraordinarily patient…profoundly loyal…playful…protective…always at your side…Passionate and responsible dog lover with a lifetime of experience providing top quality care for dog breeds of all sizes…I am dedicated to ensuring that those in my care are safe, healthy, and happy while their parents are away. Hopefully I can alleviate some of the stress associated with leaving your precious pup with someone if you know I will treat them as if they were my own dog and my own dog, Whiskey, gets treated like a Prince.

William is a very nice, caring, friendly man. He watched my 11 week old bullmastiff pup and I couldn't have asked for a better person to watch him for the day. William provided photos of him playing in the yard with the other dogs and socializing with the neighbors. He is an all around good guy and I would definitely recommend and use him again in the future.

William provided exceptional care for our dog during her weeklong stay. He monitored her eating closely, adjusted her meals when needed, and kept us updated with detailed messages. He shared photos of her having fun and socializing with other dogs, and she integrated beautifully into his home. He also shared little stories, like how she became obsessed with one of Whiskey’s squeaky toys and carried it in and out of the house. It was clear she felt safe, happy, and completely at home. One thing that really stood out was how much William genuinely loves our dog. It wasn’t just care — he connected with her, paid attention to her personality, and treated her like she was part of his family. That kind of care is rare and meant the world to us. His flexibility with pickup after our overnight flight was greatly appreciated. We felt completely confident leaving her in his care and will absolutely rebook with him!

This was our Zeno’s first time staying anywhere without us. At first, Zeno was a little nervous but adjusted fine after a while. You can tell William is good with dogs. He was patient, kind and reassured us that Zeno would be in good hands. William sent photos of Zeno hanging out in the back yard and updated me on the stay. I’d definitely book with William again.

It was so nice leaving my dogs in William's care as he clearly loves dogs and enjoys taking care of them. They were well-cared for and William communicated well as to any questions or concerns and clarified any points about how I would like for them to be cared for. I will definitely be hiring William again in the future.
