I am a 56 year old, married mom with two grown children. I work as a special education aide at a middle school during the school year. I am available for house sitting and checking in on dogs and cats, as needed. I've also been asked by a few clients this year to check on chickens, ducks, and pet rats!

Let me know if your dog(s) ~or~ cat(s) have any special needs or behaviors that I can account for (i.e. is your dog/cat afraid of loud noises: fireworks, thunder cracking) and what do you do to help them. If there are specific ways that your dog/cat likes to play (i.e. chasing a ball or stick, playing tug of war with a rope toy, etc..). I want to be shown exactly how you give your dog/cat medications or shots before I begin my stay. This makes me feel more comfortable and will also make your dog(s) or cat(s) more comfortable. I will NEVER stay with your animals without meeting you, and them, in person. Thank you!
A typical day
I love to get your dogs' energy out by playing some games, checking out the new smells in the neighborhood, and exploring the parks in town. I love hanging out with cats and will gladly brush and pet your cat(s) for you while you are away!

I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and, in some cases, dispense medications for their fur babies when they were gone for a day or for several weeks.
