I usually work a typical 8-5 M-F but now that traveling is getting back to normal, I have heard there is need for short term home stay, overnights and just life, that happens. Happy to help over the weekends and whenever possible.

We have an energetic Jack Russell and a calm but active Lab. They have totally different personalities but they complement each other. The best care is the one that allows pets to be themselves, teaching them boundaries and "manners" in a loving way. They get well fed, they go out for their bathroom breaks - thank you fenced yard! - and lots of games and love.

I like to know how active is the pet and how the family rewards/disciplines them to be consistent with their environment. Some owners are more strict than others and I believe it is important to minimize changes to their routine. Of course, if the dog needs medications, has any triggers or feels uncomfortable with certain areas, behaviors, etc..
A typical day
I love taking dogs to an open space in a park if possible and try more active walks in that space. If we can't have that, I like to jog/run or be more active with them for a small stretch of the path and then going a little slower.

My parents were pretty sure I was going to be a vet or work in a zoo! I ended doing something completely different but my love for animals is still there. I've spent a lot of time with canines, felines, rodents, reptiles, insects... and each one has been a pleasure! I believe that sharing our lives with pets makes us better people. I am very happy that mine chose me as their human.
