Our sanctuary is my full time job. Running a sanctuary means daily, hands-on responsibility, close observation, and compassionate, reliable care. I have extensive dog and cat care experience, including seniors and pets with special needs. I’m comfortable with medication administration, including oral, topical, and injectable medications (shots), and I closely monitor for changes in behavior, appetite, or mobility. I understand how important consistency and patience are, especially for older or medically sensitive pets. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for tortoises, including habitat checks, feeding, and temperature/lighting management, as well as chickens, with daily care, coop checks, and health monitoring.
