I understand that every animal, just like people, is unique. I'll take the time to earn their trust, understand their needs, likes, and dislikes, so they will be well cared for, and they will get an abundance of fun and cuddles! Whether we're going for a walk, playing in the yard, or simply keeping each other company while you're away, you will receive photos and messages during our visits so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your fur-baby is in caring, capable hands.

It is important for me to know about any likes or dislikes, favorite spots or toys, funny behaviours to look out for, dietary restrictions....or full treats allowed, do they like being in a car, and of course attitudes toward other dogs or cats. The more information I get, to help me get to know your fur-baby so he or she can have the best time possible, the better! :)
A typical day
Depending on the pet parent wishes and approval, we can go for walks around the area, through nature walking paths, dip our feet in the river, or hang out at their house and throw a ball and play with toys, or all of the above!. I go to Pawsitively Wild and Free dog park a lot with my own dogs. It is a secure private booking in a spot that is typically 2-3 acres of land with trees and hay bales and tons of room to run, in a fenced in spot, with 6 foot high secure fences and a 6 foot space before the next fence so dogs can run up and down the fence line and play with other dogs, completely safely but with no contact. If a pet parent wanted to book a half hour spot for that it is $15 and an hour is $20 for the rental. I would be happy to take them here as an additional option or for a special outing.

🐾 About Me Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and I've spent years pet-sitting for friends and family while always sharing my home with animals of my own. I currently have two cats and 2 dogs, all rescues, and definitely all the best decisions I ever made! :) 🐕 My Experience In addition to caring for my own pets and pet sitting for friends and family, I have volunteered in civilian rescue and transport for high-risk dogs and served as a volunteer cat caregiver with AARCS. 😊 The Rescue of Sally and Her Puppies. I rescued and transported a lot of dogs and cats over the past few years, but the biggest undertaking was helping rescue a mother dog, who we later named Sally, and her 8 one-day-old puppies from a reserve in Alberta during -38°C temperatures. I transported this special fur family to my dog trainer's acreage where we set up a secure, safe, warm area. I learned how to care for them and help with early socialization, structure, and training to prepare them for life with their future families. Every puppy, and Sally herself, has since been adopted into loving, forever homes. Being part of something like this was definitely one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my life!
