🐾 About Me Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and I've spent years pet-sitting for friends and family while always sharing my home with animals of my own. I currently have two cats and 2 dogs, all rescues, and definitely all the best decisions I ever made! :) 🐕 My Experience In addition to caring for my own pets and pet sitting for friends and family, I have volunteered in civilian rescue and transport for high-risk dogs and served as a volunteer cat caregiver with AARCS. 😊 The Rescue of Sally and Her Puppies. I rescued and transported a lot of dogs and cats over the past few years, but the biggest undertaking was helping rescue a mother dog, who we later named Sally, and her 8 one-day-old puppies from a reserve in Alberta during -38°C temperatures. I transported this special fur family to my dog trainer's acreage where we set up a secure, safe, warm area. I learned how to care for them and help with early socialization, structure, and training to prepare them for life with their future families. Every puppy, and Sally herself, has since been adopted into loving, forever homes. Being part of something like this was definitely one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my life!

She left great notes with photos and delightful details about playtime and how things went during the visit. We felt at ease knowing Dot had such great care while we were away.

Tracie is a true animal lover. If I had to name her greatest passion in life, it would be caring for animals of all kinds. My first experience seeing Tracie’s compassion for animals was when she adopted a lizard. The previous owner was a teenage girl who had lost interest in the animal and had stopped feeding it. Tracie took the lizard in, learned everything she could about its needs and care, and gave it a loving home for many years until it passed away naturally. I love my kitty very much, and I have absolutely no concerns about leaving my boy in Tracie’s care when I go on vacation. I know that she will give him the same love, attention, and care that she gives to all the animals in her life. I trust her completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely cares about their pets.
Tracie gives everything she has and 100 % more to everything she does. Animals are at the top. I have witnessed her devotion to her 2 dogs unconditionally everyday. I do not have a pet at this time but wouldn't hesitate to have her look after it!
