🐾 About Me Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and I've spent years pet-sitting for friends and family while always sharing my home with animals of my own. I currently have two cats and 2 dogs, all rescues, and definitely all the best decisions I ever made! :) 🐕 My Experience In addition to caring for my own pets and pet sitting for friends and family, I have volunteered in civilian rescue and transport for high-risk dogs and served as a volunteer cat caregiver with AARCS. 😊 The Rescue of Sally and Her Puppies. I rescued and transported a lot of dogs and cats over the past few years, but the biggest undertaking was helping rescue a mother dog, who we later named Sally, and her 8 one-day-old puppies from a reserve in Alberta during -38°C temperatures. I transported this special fur family to my dog trainer's acreage where we set up a secure, safe, warm area. I learned how to care for them and help with early socialization, structure, and training to prepare them for life with their future families. Every puppy, and Sally herself, has since been adopted into loving, forever homes. Being part of something like this was definitely one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my life!

Tracie is an absolute gem! She is so kind and truly loves animals! She made us feel super comfortable leaving our fur babies in her care! Tracie is a lovely person, and it was immediately obvious that she loves animals from the way she started relating with Dot. She left great notes with photos and delightful details about playtime and how things went during the visit. We felt at ease knowing Dot had such great care while we were away.

Schedule
I am in a position with much flexibility and availability in my schedule, allowing me to easily accommodate most booking requests with little advanced notice.

- It is important for me to know about any likes or dislikes, favorite spots or toys, funny behaviours to look out for, dietary restrictions....or full treats allowed, do they like being in a car, and of course attitudes toward other dogs or cats. The more information I get, to help me get to know your fur-baby so he or she can have the best time possible, the better! :)
