I am a nurse who works part-time and Dave my husband works  2-3 days from home so any doggy sitting will be worked around our work schedule so our doggie guests will always have company. Our 13 and 8 year old boys will also be around after school and on weekends to provide fun, play and cuddles. I have a large, fully enclosed back garden, so your dog would have company all day as well as access to the outdoors.

I have a fully secure back garden and treat any doggy guest as my own so they will have full access around my home day and night.  I would walk your dog at least twice a day and allow them full access to my large fenced garden. There is a vast amount of lovely walks nearby and your dog would have lots of attention and company during their stay. I offer a meet and greet with yourself and your dog prior to your pets stay with us, for your dog to get to know us. During this time I would get to know about your dog’s temperament including any fears/ issues Medication and vets contact details. Feeding/treat routine. How they interact with other dogs. Usual length / timing of walks. I would try to follow their usual feeding and exercise routine because  it is very important to follow a dog’s existing routine so that they feel comfortable and settled. I can crate your dog if required.

Pet care experience

Hi I'm Trace! We are a family of dog lovers. Myself and my husband have been around dogs most of our lives. I had a West Highland terrier as a child/teenager and would care for and help walk my grandma's crazy mixed breed dog aswell as walking my relatives, neighbours and friends dogs including Border Collie, Weimaraner, Great dane, Airedale terrier and an overprotective Yorkie to name a few.  My husband always had a family dog growing up. Both my boys have grown up with our beautiful boy Frankie, a border collie cross, who sadly passed away in January 25, at the age of 17 and 1/2. The boys are both dog mad and have really missed having a dog around to play with, walk and cuddle. We aren't ready for a dog of our own just yet but would love to share our love for dogs by caring for your beautiful pets and offering them a home from home doggie holiday. We have experience with elderly dogs and are used to providing care or adapting to special care/specific care needs. Frankie was blind from age 12 and was going deaf in his later years

Tracey and her family were absolutely fantastic with my two dogs. I was very nervous as I’ve not left them with someone before that isn’t family. Tracey went through their needs and what they like, I received daily photos of them receiving many cuddles and out on their walks. I felt at ease knowing they were being looked after by a lovely family, and I’m not sure the dogs even wanted to come home after their stay. I know my dogs absolutely loved staying there. Thank you again to Tracey and her family for looking after them so well xx

Tracey and her family were absolutely perfect sitters for our 10 month old puppy, Ted. He is a cockapoo puppy with quite a lot of energy who can be a very picky eater, but nothing felt too much of an ask for Tracey. He is also a very affectionate dog and he got plenty of love from the family! Even when picking Ted up he was walking between every member of the family for more cuddles and love. We also were kept in the loop with lovely photo updates. We were so happy to see how comfortable Ted was with the family which enabled us to enjoy our holiday.
