**Back to My Roots. Back to My Passion!** Former owner of KT Specialty Pet Care, I’m excited to return to what I’ve always loved most—caring for pets. I provide loving, dependable, and personalized care for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppy playtime and socialization, walks and exercise, senior pet care, medication administration, in-home visits, and in-home boarding. I also offer limited grooming services, including bathing, nail trims and more. With many years of experience in the veterinary field, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. I’m excited to get back to my roots and my passion for providing the love, attention, and care your pets deserve.

Terri has been my go-to person for all of my “fur baby” questions and needs since 2010, and after all these years, I can honestly say that I trust her completely with my babies. For many years, Terri was my groomer for my other dachshund mix, who absolutely hated having his nails trimmed and would scream when anyone tried. Terri was always patient with him and never made me feel like he was too much. She understood him and treated him with kindness and compassion. Over the years, I have seen Terri care for so many different animals—dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks, and more. No matter what kind of animal she is caring for or what the weather is like, she gives them the same patience, attention, and love. You can see that caring for animals isn't just a job to her; it is genuinely who she is. My first dachshund later developed diabetes after a medication he was given by his vet (we won’t get into that part!). After spending a week in the hospital, he needed insulin shots and blood sugar checks, and I had an important event that I simply could not miss. Terri stepped in and cared for my boy as if he were her own. She gave him his insulin, checked his blood sugar, and dealt with his ornery little personality with patience and love. She took such wonderful care of him. There was another time when I was trying to get a blood sample from him and simply could not get it. I was frustrated and in tears. Terri came over, helped me through it, and even took the time to cut his nails for me. In that moment, she didn't just help with my dog—she helped me when I was overwhelmed and needed someone I trusted. One of the moments that touched my heart the most was when I went to pick him up and found him snuggled down with Terri and her family, watching TV. He was completely comfortable and happy, like he was right where he belonged. That image has stayed with me because it showed me just how much love and security she gives the animals in her care. After knowing Terri for more than 15 years, I can say without hesitation that she is someone I trust with my babies. When you love your pets as much as I do, finding someone who cares for them with the same love and compassion you would give them yourself is priceless. I am so thankful for Terri—not only for the care she has given my pets, but for the reassurance, kindness, and peace of mind she has given me over the years. She has been there for us through the happy times, the stressful times, and the moments when I just needed someone to help. Terri truly treats animals like family, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their beloved pets. ❤️

I offer flexible pet care options to fit your needs, including morning and evening visits, quick pop-in visits, and walks. I also provide in-home pet care for those who want their furry family members to stay comfortable in their own home, along with limited grooming services such as baths and nail trims. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while giving you peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands.

My home has a separate, dedicated space where I can comfortably care for, board, and groom your pets. While I have pets of my own, they will never be exposed to your pet, providing a safe and comfortable environment during their stay. I have extensive experience with overnight stays, medication administration, and caring for pets with a variety of needs. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being are my top priorities, and I will provide them with the same love, attention, and care I would want for my own.

A typical day
I believe every pet is unique, so I individualize playtime and care based on their personality, age, energy level, and needs. That might look like going for walks and enjoying outdoor play, playing with their favorite toys, or spending quiet time indoors with plenty of cuddles and companionship. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace with lots of love and attention, I want their time with me to be fun, comfortable, and enjoyable!

- Before your scheduled visits begin, I will always arrange a meet-and-greet with you and your pet(s). This gives us an opportunity to get acquainted, discuss your pet’s routine, personality, medications, special needs, and any important instructions. My goal is to make sure **you, your pets, and I are all comfortable and confident** before care begins. I believe communication and accountability are essential when someone is caring for your fur babies. My passion for animals runs deep, and I take the responsibility of caring for your pets seriously. Every pet deserves individualized attention, patience, compassion, and care that makes them feel safe and loved while you are away.
