As someone who works from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. From morning walks and playtime to consistent potty breaks and cuddle sessions. Pet care is naturally built into my routine, so your pup will never feel alone or overlooked. I also keep their spaces clean, cozy, and calm to make them feel right at home.

In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and structured environment where dogs feel safe and loved. I follow each pup’s routine closely, offer regular potty breaks, playtime, quiet rest, and use crates for overnight safety and comfort in line with Rover Trust & Safety guidance. For drop in visits, I make sure pets are fed, exercised, and given attention while keeping their home routines consistent and stress free.

Before a stay or drop-in visit, it’s important for me to know your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, any medical needs, and how they interact with other dogs. I also like to know if they’re crate-trained, have any fears or triggers (like loud noises or strangers), and what helps them feel calm and comfortable. Finally I do require proof of updated shot records and an emergency contact. The more I know, the better I can care for your pup like they’re my own. Please note: I do not accept pets with an active illness.
A typical day
I love keeping pups happy and engaged with activities like walks, fetch, treat puzzles, and gentle training games. We also enjoy cuddle time, calm enrichment, and the occasional pet photo shoot for fun updates! Every activity is tailored to your dog’s energy level and personality to make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained.

I’ve been there myself, and that’s exactly why I joined Rover, to offer pet parents peace of mind knowing their pup is safe, loved, and well cared for. My Care Philosophy: I treat every pup I care for like my own, with patience, affection, and attention to their comfort and well-being. I work from home full-time, which allows me to be very hands on and present throughout the day. Whether your pup is energetic or laid back, I’m able to match their vibe and provide a safe, nurturing environment. I have experience with administering medication, puppies and elderly dogs. In my home, I specialize and care for small and medium sized pups. I’m focused on quality care, I make sure each pup has a comfortable, cozy setup. I understand that every pup is unique, so I follow their established routines as closely as possible to help reduce any stress or anxiety. TJ is always attentive to Lani and her needs! Lani definitely had so much fun staying with her and I know she will be happy to stay with her again
I could tell Daisy had a great time with TayJuana and the other pups in her care. Daisy seemed to interact well with her before and after the stay. Her space was clean and prepared. When I forgot to leave her bed…she had extra available. I will definitely be using her again.
TJ did a great job with Lani! We appreciated the updates and the extra care that she took to make sure that Lani was comfortable during her stay.
I can't say enough positive things about TayJuana! She was able to take all three of our small dogs who range from overly rambunctious to "pls don't bother me as I'm not in the mood." She messaged daily and included pics. In addition, she responded to my texts promptly and appreciated my concern as a somewhat helicopter 🚁 pet mom. TJ is incredibly authentic, warm and a true animal lover. I'd highly recommend her without hesitation. Again, TJ is a wonderful pet sitter.
