Knowing important details about your pets ahead of time is crucial for ensuring their safety and well-being during a pet-sitting arrangement. Here are some key points to consider: 1. Dietary Needs: Understand your pet’s specific dietary requirements, including any allergies or special diets. 2. Routine: Be clear about your pet’s daily routine, including feeding times, exercise needs, and any specific activities they enjoy. 3. Behavioral Traits: Share any behavioral quirks, such as anxiety triggers, tendencies to bark or be shy, and how they typically interact with other pets or people. 4. Medical History: Inform the sitter about any health conditions, medications that need to be administered, and emergency contact information for your vet. 5. Emergency Procedures: Provide guidance on what to do in case of an emergency, including your veterinarian’s contact details and any local emergency pet clinics. 7. Favorite Activities: Let the sitter know your pet’s favorite toys, games, or activities to keep them engaged and happy. 8. A typical day

As your dog sitter, a typical day with your furry friend begins with a morning bathroom break followed by breakfast. We’ll enjoy a refreshing walk to start the day, then engage in playtime with their favorite toys. After some midday cuddles and a nap, we’ll have another walk and play session. In the evening, I’ll feed dinner and spend quality time relaxing together. Before bedtime, we’ll have one last bathroom break to ensure your dog is comfortable and cozy for the night. Throughout the day, I’ll keep you updated with texts and photos, ensuring your pet feels loved and happy while you’re away.

Pet care experience

As a dedicated and compassionate dog sitter, I go beyond basic care by providing personalized attention to meet each dog’s unique needs. My experience includes working with puppies, training them in basic commands and routines, and caring for senior dogs who require extra patience, gentle handling, and sometimes medication administration, as well as previous shelter dogs who need a little extra love. I believe in creating a safe, comfortable, and joyful environment, making sure each dog feels right at home. With a deep love for animals and an understanding of canine behavior, I’m committed to giving your pet the best experience possible, filled with playtime, exercise, and lots of affection. Additionally, I have a certification from Fear Free Shelters care program!

Tate is an incredible sitter! She was very responsive and accommodating to us with a couple of problem situations that came up during Jezi's stay. She seems to have an intuition on just what a doggie needs in order to feel safe and calm. She sent pictures and updates throughout on their various activities. She was snuggly and loving and concerned with my dog's happiness and my peace of mind! I very highly recommend Tate!

Tate was a great sitter! She was very prompt with all communication, and sent updates and pictures daily. She accommodated our schedule and was very easy to work with! She took our pup out for walks and exercise and even car rides. All of our doggy's favorite things to do. I highly recommend Tate and plan to use her again in the near future.

I am extremely thankful to Tate for being available in such short notice and taking excellent care of our dog. I messaged her the day prior to our trip, and despite her busy schedule, she made time for a meet and great the very same day. I felt super comfortable leaving my dog with her. Tara is great with communication sent us updates and pictures throughout the day. Loved it! I highly recommend Tate and will definitely use her services again!
