I am currently a full time stained glass artist working from home, so I have all the time in the world to take pets for walks and attend to their needs and activity levels. They will be with me all day!

My home is on tidelands, so if your dog likes to swim we can arrange some fetch in the water. Otherwise, we will go for walks/runs on the trail, depending on your pet's energy needs. I am good about staying on the feeding/potty schedule you provide for consistency.

I was a teacher for 15 years and if I can take care of a class full of 25 ten-year olds, I can definitely take care of pets! I have been a pet owner all my life, and I am in tuned with what animals need. I have experience with reptiles, dogs, and cats. I enjoy being outdoors and playing with animals. Being on the other side, as a client, I know how important it was for me to get photos and updates of my dogs so I am happy to provide daily updates and pictures to keep your mind at ease while away from your loved one!

Tara is a great option for day care or overnight! She has a spacious grassy area for the dogs to run and play and her dog is very sweet and calm. There is ample indoor space as well for the dogs to get out of the rain. Tara obviously knows and loves dogs and we feel confident leaving our fur babies in her care. Thank you Tara!
Tara was great when I needed walking breaks for my puppy. She is easy to communicate with, reliable, handled my puppy well and even brought in packages inside that I had delivered. Tara was so kind and friendly at our meet and great. Will definitely book again if needed in the future.
Tara was really wonderful! When I first met her I could tell she really loves dogs and would take very good care of our pups while we’re were gone for an overnight trip. So happy I found her and I look forward to trusting her with our house and pups again in the future.
Tara is an animal lover, and animals naturally gravitate towards her. She has experience caring for senior dogs and disabled dogs. Our last dog, Kalgary, developed a spinal disease which took away the use of his back legs. She was able to carry this 80 pound dog around, put him into his wheels, load him into the truck, etc. and was also able to help him with accidents after he lost all back mobility. Tara genuinely enjoys playing with dogs and training our newest border collie, Kora. She's a responsible adult who believes in the importance of respect and will respect your home and pets while in her care. I would recommend Tara to anyone in the Belfair, Bremerton, Allyn area for pet and home sitting.
