Retired teacher who loves animals
After a 25-year career in education, I am ready to fill my time taking care of fur babies. When asked if I'm a cat or dog person, I happily answer--BOTH! I have had the pleasure of loving many cats and dogs--and neighbors' cats and dogs--over the course of a lifetime. My husband and I currently have a 16-year old, 20 lb. rescue mutt. Because she is deaf, partly blind, and moves slowly on her bad days, I am particularly sensitive to elderly dogs. But we also occasionally provide doggie day care for our adult daughter's 9-month old black lab, so I am sharpening my skills with high-energy pups as well!

My dog gets treated better than my children did. She sleeps in the bed between me and my husband. I always introduce her as the favorite child! I would treat a prospective client's pet the same way.

Defintely recommend Tara! She did a great job with my dog and took my request last minute/ even cleaned his paws after walking him (a special request of mine). I really appreciated her help along with her doing such a great job with Bently. Thanks again Tara!!
Taro was very knowledgeable about Dogs. She was very prompt. My two dogs felt very comfortable around her. She was also very kind.

Dates de la garde
Retired, so my schedule is flexible. While I am mostly interested in routine walkings and check-ins, I am open to overnights depending on if my husband can take care of our dog in my absence. I would appreciate 24 hours notice about an upcoming service but could possibly be available sooner.
