I have been petsitting for over 20 years and I love animals. I grew up in a household with rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats, tortoises, you name it! I currently have dogs, cats, goats, horses, and sheep. I can also care for your farm animals in addition to dogs and cats.

Why I love dog sitting I was born a dog lover. My family growing up always had dogs of all shapes and sizes, usually at least 2 or 3 at a time! Dogs are family to me. I have volunteered at shelters and participated with a pit bull advocacy group in the past, as well. I have been dog sitting for over 20 years. I also rescued my last 3 dogs. I am comfortable with young dogs and dogs that are not fully trained and still learning, as I realize it is a long process for some of us. My first lab was 10 months old when I adopted him and he was as wild as they come, so I am completely comfortable with your not so perfect and/or exuberant dog! I am also a cat lover and have experience with them too!

I would like to know your dog's schedule and if they have any special needs or rules. I have no breed preferences or restrictions. In my opinion, dogs are individuals and should not be stereotyped based on breed. Please let me know about food aggression or important things of that nature.

My dogs are “farm dogs” so they don’t get formal walks but they come to “work” with me and do chores with me and are exposed to other friendly dogs in the neighborhood and at our property. However, they still love fetch and wrestling and chase! I include one walk or one on one playtime per day in my rates. If your dog needs more stimulation than this during the day, please let me know so we can book appropriately.

I am a responsible, adult woman who loves animals and has grown up with them my entire life. I currently have two dogs, both rescues, River and Tucker. I also have horses, goats, chickens, sheep, and cats! Pets are not just animals to me, but they are part of our families. Because I am self employed, my availability is flexible. If your dog or cat has any special needs, such as medicine or diet restrictions I am happy to accommodate your requests. Rest assured that your pet will be treated with love and care while you have to be away. I am always happy to text or email updates and pictures of your pet! References are available.

There is NO ONE as good as Tami!! The end!!! 😁 She is the best with any pet! I keep my fingers crossed hoping she is available each time I need someone!!

Tami was such a perfect pick for my pug and kitties! She worked with us to get exactly what we needed so that we could get out of town for an important event! She sent pics and updated me perfectly! You can always tell when your pets are enjoying their time w someone in pics and they looked happy as clams! I hope to always use Tami! Her expertise with ALL animals is a gift! She left me with ZERO worries and nothing is more important than that!
