I am a responsible, adult woman who loves animals and has grown up with them my entire life. I currently have two dogs, both rescues, River and Tucker. I also have horses, goats, chickens, sheep, and cats! Pets are not just animals to me, but they are part of our families. Because I am self employed, my availability is flexible. If your dog or cat has any special needs, such as medicine or diet restrictions I am happy to accommodate your requests. Rest assured that your pet will be treated with love and care while you have to be away. I am always happy to text or email updates and pictures of your pet! References are available.

Why I love dog sitting I was born a dog lover. My family growing up always had dogs of all shapes and sizes, usually at least 2 or 3 at a time! Dogs are family to me. I have volunteered at shelters and participated with a pit bull advocacy group in the past, as well. I have been dog sitting for over 20 years. I also rescued my last 3 dogs. I am comfortable with young dogs and dogs that are not fully trained and still learning, as I realize it is a long process for some of us. My first lab was 10 months old when I adopted him and he was as wild as they come, so I am completely comfortable with your not so perfect and/or exuberant dog! I am also a cat lover and have experience with them too!

Amazing as always! Tami is a gem!
It was our first time ever leaving our 2-year-old Yorkie, Harlow Jean, with a pet sitter, so you can imagine how nervous we were. My husband and I treat her like our baby, and we’re extremely particular about her care. We have strict meal schedules, detailed safety routines, and are especially careful about keeping her secure inside the house since there are multiple doors leading outside. I left Tami what felt like a small book instead of a simple instruction sheet, and I was honestly a little embarrassed. I remember thinking that if someone handed me that list in an unfamiliar house, I’d probably be overwhelmed. But not Tami. She followed every single instruction perfectly. Tami is a true professional who genuinely cares about animals. She respected our home, made the entire experience completely stress free, and sent us daily updates and adorable photos of Harlow Jean, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t be happier that we found her, and she will be the only person we trust with Harlow Jean from now on. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pet with the same love, attention, and dedication that you do, look no further. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Tami absolutely deserves this one. Thank you, Tami !
