Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love being with them. Right now, I have a 5-year-old Maltese rescue named Pretzel, so I’m especially familiar with the quirks and care that come with small dogs and rescue pups. I’ve looked after all kinds of dogs—big, small, energetic, chill—and have experience with everything from daily walks and feeding to light grooming, giving meds, and helping senior dogs with their routines. I’m calm, confident, and always make sure to pay attention to what each dog needs to feel happy and comfortable.

Sydney is a highly motivated pet care worker—I cannot recommend her enough! I have had dog-sitters who are apathetic and who let both discipline and routine slip, but Sydney is organized, dedicated, and amazing at keeping my 5 dogs in good health and good spirits. Sydney is great with all animals, and has a special knack for getting dogs to trust and obey her. She also takes care of our 3 bunnies! She is deeply passionate about animals, and treats each individual pet as her own, and for that I am grateful!

A typical day
A fun day with a pup usually starts with a good walk so they can get some energy out and “check the news” (aka sniff everything). At home, I mix in playtime, some mental stimulation with toys or simple games, and lots of cozy downtime. I always follow their usual routine to keep things comfortable and fun!

My schedule is flexible, and I’m typically available for daytime care, walks, and drop-ins throughout the week. I do occasionally travel with my partner for his work, but when I’m home, I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs as consistently as possible.
