My schedule is very flexible this summer! I work in an elementary school during the school year, so I'm off for the summer months. Other than occasionally carpooling my son to camp, my days are wide open and I'm available to accommodate a variety of pet care needs

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged! If your dog enjoys playtime, I’m more than happy to throw a ball or frisbee, go for walks, or explore a favorite trail or park. If they’re comfortable in the car and you give me advance notice, I’m also open to taking them on little adventures—whether it’s a dog-friendly spot nearby or just a fun ride to break up their day. Every pet has their own idea of fun, and I’m always happy to match their energy and comfort level to make sure they’re enjoying themselves safely.

Pet care experience
I love animals. With over 30 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, animals have been a central part of my life since childhood. I started walking dogs in middle school as my very first job, and I’ve never stopped loving it! I’ve raised and trained my own dogs from puppyhood, so I understand the patience and consistency needed during those early stages. I currently care for my own dogs, I love them and they are my best friends and 100% part of our family. I have experience with senior pets who require medication, as well as rescue dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding due to anxiety or feeding concerns. I’m reliable, calm, and deeply dedicated to each pet’s unique needs. I am open to most pets and have had hamsters, birds, fish, frogs, turtles, lizards, hermit crabs, etc over the years! As an elementary school staff member, I have my summers off—giving me the time and flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care for your furry family members.

Reviews
truly a dog person! my dog adores her. extremely responsible in giving the highest quality care to your pooch! a tail wagging, 4 paws up recommendation🐶
Suzie has been a trusted, compassionate care giver for both of our dachshunds. Our first dachshund was geriatric and Suzie gave her special attention and care in her golden years while we were out of town and on several occasions when we were gone for long days. We have a puppy dachshund now who has a chronic kidney condition requiring injections and medication distribution. Suzie is the perfect woman for the job and I know I can trust her to administer correctly and also spoil our dog with love and attention in the process. Both of our dachshunds adore Suzie. They are both skeptical of strangers and shy, but Suzie is no stranger to our pups. If you need simple care of letting a dog out through the day, overnight care, or support for a dog with special needs, Suzie is the woman for the job!
I had a great experience with Suzan! She took amazing care of my German Shepherd, Lucy, giving her meds and visiting her 4 times a day—even showing up pretty early in the morning, which I really appreciated. Lucy was happy, well-exercised, and clearly in good hands
Suzan is simply the best! My dog, Roxy, is older and has some anxiety with strangers but Suzan knew just how to calm her down so that she felt comfortable and loved in my absence. I highly recommend Suzan, she is reliable and a natural with dogs.
