I’m a pet lover and work freelance from home, so I can easily be flexible with visit times to suit your needs and those of your pet. Part of my freelance work involves property inspection for clients, so I am familiar with accessing properties, securing them after my visit and holding/looking after keys. I grew up with cats living at home, and have had several of my own in a previous flat, so I am experienced in caring for both indoor cats and those with access to the outside. I’ve also recently started dog walking and home visits for dogs. I’m based just south of the River Thames, in London SE16, so my local areas are Rotherhithe, Shad Thames, Surrey Quays and parts of Bermondsey. I’m more than happy to consider sitting requests outside of my local area (e.g. Wapping, Limehouse, Old Kent Rd and further afield) although these are likely to involve additional fees (to cover transport costs and/or extra travelling time). This is dependent on where you are based and the logistics involved in getting there. I have a bike, car and easy access to London Overground.

I care for pets in their own home so they stay relaxed and secure. I follow feeding, litter and medication routines exactly, and I’m also happy to offer safe, structured dog walks when needed.

We booked Steve to come for a drop in pretty last minute, he came the day before for a meet and greet and was lovely! Steve took great care of Mac and played with him, and also sent over lots of cute pictures and videos. We came home to a very happy dog! Would definitely rebook :)
We had a great experience with Steven looking after our two cats, Tia and Poppy. From the initial meet and greet, he was friendly, professional and took the time to understand their routines and personalities. During each visit he followed all of our instructions carefully and kept us updated with plenty of messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We especially loved seeing that our usually shy and reserved cat, Poppy, really warmed up to him and even made friends with him, which says a lot! 😻 When we came home, both cats were relaxed, happy and clearly well looked after. We’d happily recommend Steven to anyone looking for a reliable, caring and communicative cat sitter, and we’d definitely book him again!
Steven was fab - the cats were comfortable with him straight away and he sent me lots of reassuring photos and videos during the heatwave! One of my cats played up and was not using the litter box….Steven was super about it (sorry again Steven!). Would use him again in a second (although he might not feel the same 😂😂😂). Thank you!
