Pet care experience

Treating your pets like family!

Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of experience, especially with large breeds, reactive dogs, and pups with special needs. I’ve worked with shelter dogs and understand how to care for animals that need a little extra patience, structure, or medical support. I currently live with a rambunctious lab and two curious cats, so I’m very used to a lively, pet-filled home. Whether your dog is staying for daycare, boarding overnight, or just dropping by for a walk, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. My home is pet-friendly with a fully fenced-in backyard—perfect for playtime and potty breaks. I also have experience administering medications, including for pets with ongoing health needs, and I’m comfortable accommodating special diets or routines. I truly enjoy walking and believe it’s more than just a potty break—it’s a chance for dogs to stretch their legs, explore, and get some fresh air and stimulation. I tailor each walk to your dog’s pace and energy level, whether they’re a slow sniffer or an energetic explorer. I’m happy to work with most dogs and want to provide the best possible care. Just let me know about any behaviors or needs in advance so I can be fully prepared. I look forward to meeting your furry family and making them feel right at home!

Stephanie is always so good with our kitties! We receive detailed updates, and she’s able to attend to all their needs (brushing, playing, and meds.)

Stephanie is an amazing cat-sitter! We felt so confident leaving our two elder cats with her. Stephanie took time to meet us before we left town to get to know our cats and their routine, and kept us updated the entire time we were away. We already have Stephanie booked for another visit!

Stephanie is the absolute best possible person to trust with your fur baby. It was our first tine using Rover and leaving our puppy with someone other than family, so a little anxious, but Stephanie was able to clear any worries away with ease and had us feeling we made the best decision ever in who we trusted with our Roxy. Super communicative, tons of photos and videos, super helpful if anything came up. Stephanie truly loves animals and will care for your baby as much as she does her own. We are beyond grateful for her, and will be forever clients as long as she will have us!

Schedule

I work from home, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s letting them out for frequent potty breaks, enjoying playtime in the backyard, or making sure they stick to their regular feeding and medication schedule, I’m able to be fully present and responsive to their needs. My flexible routine means your pup will never be left alone for long, and I can easily adjust to accommodate their unique rhythms and preferences.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m visiting them in theirs, I treat them like part of the family. In my home, dogs have plenty of space to relax and play, including access to a securely fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. I keep a consistent routine for meals, walks, and play, and I’m mindful of any special instructions, from medications to behavioral needs. In a client’s home, I do my best to maintain the pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions closely, provide lots of affection and enrichment, and make sure their space stays clean and safe. My goal is always to keep your pet happy, healthy, and stress-free in your absence—whether they’re with me or in their own home.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I like to tailor activities to their personality, energy level, and preferences. For the high-energy pups, we’ll enjoy playtime in my fenced-in backyard, interactive games like fetch or tug, and stimulating walks around the neighborhood. For the more relaxed or senior pets, we’ll take slow strolls, enjoy cuddle time, or do gentle enrichment activities like treat puzzles or snuffle mats. I also love giving pets one-on-one attention—whether that’s brushing, belly rubs, or just sitting outside together soaking up the sun. My goal is to keep your pet mentally and physically engaged while making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy.

I’m happy to work with most pets, including those who may be reactive, shy, or have special needs—I just ask that you’re open and honest about any behaviors, triggers, or medical needs upfront. The more I know, the better I can care for your pet safely and confidently. Please share anything that helps me understand your pet’s routine, personality, and preferences—like how they do on walks, if they have separation anxiety, food allergies, or how they interact with other animals. Clear communication helps me tailor my care and make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and supported while you’re away.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
