I have been cat and dog sitting (plus one rabbit!) on my own since college and grew up in a home where I helped my mom pet sit for exotic small pets such as guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. I also have experience with turtles from growing up with a family turtle. As a current cat mom I understand how stressful it is for pets to leave their home environment when their family is away. I am happy to provide in home visits along with daily (or twice daily) reports on how your pet is doing. I am currently not able to provide in home boarding for cats and dogs although I can host a small animal (rodents, reptiles) in a room that is securely closed and not accessible to my cat. I am available for short overnight visits in the upper Manhattan area (generally one or two nights only). When I am not working as a consultant, exploring NYC, or pet sitting, I enjoy spending time with my tabby cat Camilla.

Safety, trust & environment
I pay special attention to all needs a pet has as every pet is unique. I have extensive experience with pets who have special dietary needs and/or need to take pills. I provide regular updates, photos, and videos about how a pet is doing and send a prompt alert if a pet seems unwell or anything else seems concerning.

Would 10/10 recommend. Stephanie was fabulous with our cats and communicative. I felt very at ease with her checking on our cats even as we had to extend services due to travel delays.
I would give Stephanie 10 stars if I could. She is incredibly sweet, thorough, and communicative. She leaves detailed cards about your pet’s visits and lots of pictures! She’s very good about the times of her visits and goes the extra mile. My kitty got a little sick from the stress and she took her to the vet twice for me and administered medications! I truly could not have asked for a better sitter.
Stephanie has been absolutely amazing looking after our two cats whilst we’ve have been away on vacation - she is so reliable, trustworthy and kind. She is also amazing at keeping us updated with her detailed reports and photos. The cats have loved having her come in every day! We will definitely have Stephanie come back and look after them when we next go on vacation. We would 100% recommend her!!

Stephanie was a great sitter. She was consistent with her visit time. She provided many photos and a detailed report for each visit. My cats really seemed to enjoy her. I have one who is very shy and he warmed right to her. I will definitely use her again!

Schedule
I have a flexible job working from home as a consultant so am generally available any day of the week regardless of the time. If there are specific times that your pet needs care I will work with you to find a care schedule.

- It is important for me to know if your pet has any special needs such as medications or allergies. If I am caring for a dog I will need to know if there is anything they are fearful of on walks and how they interact with other dogs (such as are leash greetings ok, should we steer clear of any other dogs we see).
