This is my primary job and my schedule will work around yours and your fur babies! I do not mind to stay as long as needed for a drop in or a walk either, just let me know! ***However, due to unfortunate circumstances I cannot stay your at home full time 24/7 and will have to go home to take care of my pets a from time to time, but I will work around anything else***

Let me know if your dog has problematic behaviors or nervousness that I should be aware of. All dogs have their quirks! However, in order to make sure both your pup and I are safe I would like to know these quirks to make the visits/walks/sits to go as smoothly as possible. I would like to also know if your dog is potty trained, has any training at all, or anything else you generally need me to know about them! I take care of all kinds of varieties of dogs, and it’s best to know how to take care of them as if they were my own to ensure they get all the love and care they expect and deserve!
A typical day
I do not mind walking around the neighborhood with a dog! Also, if the owner has a backyard, preferably fenced, I can do activities with them out there to make sure they are happy. I can also do some training exercises with them if the client requests!

Pet care experience
I have 10+ years of experience in the animal care community. I can help with some light grooming and training as well as sitting and caring for your pet! I love to send pictures and updates daily for the animals I care for! I have cared for senior animals, special needs animals, as well as puppies and kittens! I have administered oral and injection medicine as well for cats and dogs. I've been around horses, chickens, goats, and other livestock animals. I also have experience with reptiles, fish, amphibians, and other small animals. I would love to help out with your fur or even scaly babies! I also offer homemade treats, bows, and bandanas for the stay! Feel free to ask me about them! I look forward to taking care of your pet’s needs! I follow the instructions based on the meet and greet and/or the notes that are left for me when I take care of the pets in my clients home. I always make sure doors are locked even when I am there as well. I can get mail and even water plants! I pride myself on being communicative and going the extra mile to make you and your fur babies happy! This is my main job! My availability is open! I know recently there have been an increase of dogs with separation anxiety because of the pandemic. This unfortunately can cause dogs to be 24hrly dependent. If your dog needs 24 hour care, I will not be the sitter for you, however, I am more than happy to be flexible and take care of your pup as best as I can. Locking doors and keeping lights on outside was something my parents taught me was the most important thing to do to keep me safe, especially at night. I will translate this to my client’s home and make sure it is secure and locked up whether I am there or not there. I always announce myself to the animals as I’m coming in the door as to reassure them that not just any stranger is coming into their space. I respect the pet’s boundaries very carefully and treat them as if they were my own. I haven’t come across an animal I didn’t like yet!

Stephanie has been phenomenal with the dogs!! They almost seem disappointed when I walk in the door after a trip because it’s not Stephanie! 😂 she keeps me updated with pictures and is completely professional and courteous.
