I am available 7 days a week to take care of your fur baby or babies in your home, even overnights as may be required. I can also take them to their vet appointments, for playtime with their friends, or for workday check-ins for walking/feeding/nurturing.

I communicate with pet owners to understand behavior, care & feeding needs and medical conditions. I always complete a daily log of pet general wellbeing and any significant happenings. I will send Texts / Photos/ Videos for owner piece of mind while away. I am also able to identify pet concerns (Behavioral and Medical), and I will do small things that make a big difference like bringing in mail / taking out trash / watering plants while owner is away. I know basic animal first aid for cats and dogs, and can provide medication administration (orally or by IV (aka diabetics) if needed). I am reliable, trustworthy, patient and calm during emergencies. I have excellent communication, problem solving and situational awareness skills to make sure your fur baby is safe at all times!

I like to know what their normal (good days) are like and also their abnormal (bad days) are like. How to feed/water, any medications they take (amount/frequency), how they take them (pill pocket, peanut butter, cheese, injection). What are they allergic to? What limitations do they have (ie. walking no running). How do they react with other animals? Cats, dogs on the street, etc. How many times a day do they typically like to go out to "do their business"/play/walk. Any injuries now or previously? Anything specific the owner would like to provide.
A typical day
Dogs and Cats need to be stimulated in many ways, and I do pretty much whatever the pet is able to tolerate, whether that's affection, walking, running, play dates, dog parks, walking paths, playing catch, frisbee, tug of war, brushing, catnip, etc.

Pet care experience
I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover, and currently a fur baby Mom to 12 rescue cats! I also grew up with 3 big dogs (a Samoyed, Siberian Husky and an Alaskan Malamute). I am early retired from a Director level position in the technology industry and now have lots of time on my hands. I have a pet sitter for my own fur babies, so I know the piece of mind that provides for me, and now I want to provide that for others. My experience in pet care is from having my own fur babies, and caring for family and friends pets over the years.
