Doggy wrangling and kitty cuddling!
I love taking care of dogs and cats and have volunteered at a local shelter (Friends of Pets) in Alaska since 2013. I started house-sitting and dog-walking for friends and coworkers in 2016. I’ll gladly follow any instructions you provide and will send you daily updates and pictures. If you are gone for the day I'm available to stop by your house and let your dog(s) go potty, give them belly rubs, chase them around the yard, or take them on a walk around the neighborhood. I can also take care of your kitty. I used to be the servant of an ancient cat who has trained me well in tending to his needs (including administering meds). So I’m sure your kitty will benefit from that training! I have trained dogs with behavioral issues and am happy to incorporate basic training and positive reinforcements into my work with your pup (if needed/ requested). I'm clean, quiet, and enjoy hikes, runs, skiing, cuddling with your dog or cat on the couch.

I’ll follow whatever guidelines you provide while I take care of your let at your home. I’m familiar with kennel training, leash training, basic play routines for mental stimulation, etc. just let me know what your little friend needs!

Stefanie took great care of my puppy! There was no question that she was well taken care of and loved on while I was gone.
We are so grateful to have had Stefanie help care for our older and quite stubborn lab. She made time to meet ahead of our scheduled visit, and was so attentive to her needs. Very professional, calming presence for our somewhat anxious dog, and so caring.

Stefanie was a spectacular sitter for my kitties and turtle. She is very responsive and flexible, and she made it apparent that she wanted to take the best care of my critters she possibly could. Got lots of pictures and updates while I was away. Will be having her over again soon!
Stefanie was absolutely wonderful with my shy cat, Cleo. She was very communicative and went above and beyond to ensure Cleo was happy, comfortable and well cared for. Would highly recommend!

Schedule
I can stop by your house in the mornings or afternoons, depending on your pet’s needs. I’m available weekdays, weekends and during most holidays.
