Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Sora. I recently graduated from University of California - Irvine and since moved to NorCal for work and to hopefully pursue veterinary school. I'm also a proud cat-mom to the sweetest kitty in the world. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I couldn't imagine a life without them — that's why I went from pre-med to pre-vet after all! I'm incredibly passionate about dog training and helping them live their best lives. I had a labrador retriever, aka my heart-dog, Gazebo, that I trained for over a year and half in the hopes he'd be able to assist me as a multi-purpose service dog. Unfortunately, he was retired early but I learned so much from working with him. I trained him under the tutelage of several professional trainers, though I won't go so far as to claim I'm a professional myself in any way. Reactivity training is also something I'm passionate about. Whether it be fear based, excitement based, or something else altogether, I want to be able to help dogs live their best lives. If you have a training program that you'd like for me to follow during a walk or visit, please let me know! I'll always do my best to accommodate and work with you. Your dog's safety and wellbeing will always come first though, and should I feel I'm unable to follow through, I will always let you know. I'm honored you're putting your trust in me and the least I can do is do my best in whatever I do for you and your pup.

Safety, trust & environment
As I owner trained my service dog, I'm familiar with different training methods, such as LIMA and training tools. I have experience with e-collars, martingales, and prong collars, though I prefer to be R+ as much as possible. Aka, treats, praise, and so much love. I'd be more than happy to keep up any training while walking your dog, such as redirecting reactivity or carrying treats for walks! I have a kitty who screams for food twice a day, so I'm well used to the (insistent!) routine cats follow. I'm also used to pets needing space and not having attention 24/7, as well as having experience with crate training. I believe it's important for all pets to be able to settle at home without needing constant stimulation.

I’ve had Sora take care of my senior cat multiple times already while Im away and feel confident that I’m leaving my cat in good hands. My cat needs to be given several medications and Sora is able to handle that with no issues. She also updates me regularly. Will definitely rebook in the future.
I've booked a few times with Sora already and will rebook again! She's dependable and communicates well. My cat needs medications twice a day, and she is able to help out with that. I always come home to a clean home and a well taken cared of cat. Thank you!

Sora has been great with my senior cat and very reliable and communicative while I was away. I've booked her several times, and I always feel comfortable leaving my cat under her care when I'm away. She informs me right away if there is something concerning with my cat. My cat needs multiple meds, and I've requested for her to come twice a day, which she does with no fail. Thank you for your care!
Sora was very communicative before and during our time away. She shared photos every day, and our cats seemed to appreciate her being around :)

Schedule
I currently work part-time but can easily fit in walks and drop-ins around my shifts! I have most major holidays off so I'm able to do drop-ins or walks on whichever days you need!
