My experience volunteering at animal sanctuaries, raising a puppy and kitten since kid taught me how to take care of pets with different personalities, needs and sizes. Based on my pet sitting experience, I do have a specific procedure of getting familiar with your pets. 1. A free meet and greet in person helps us to know each other, it is required before boarding or recurring services. 2. I recommend a 30mins walk together in the neighbourhood where I usually walk dogs. Your pup will be familiar with surroundings and you will see the environment! Alternatively a walk then a trial stay at home. 3. I have a google form with questions about their routine and habits to make them feel like home, and keep records once we're booked! I respect and believe you know the best about your pets, will strictly follow instructions and give my best care. I'm highly responsible, my high school homestay relied on me to walk and feed their 14 yo Border Collie. My neighbors trusted me to drop in and take care of their cats at home when they're away.
