I love animals and I had a cat named Precious for 18 years. I got a job at a vet hospital not only because I loved pets but because it was best for Precious. I was able to give her the best quality of life through my job and she sadly passed away in 2025. She was my special girl and I am ready to start caring for animals again. They matter a lot to me and I can’t bring myself to get another cat so I figured all the love and care I have in my heart, I should use it for good and help others in taking care of their precious babies. I’ve learned a lot while working at a vet hospital as well.

Other than the obvious things like, medical issues, diet, exercise and what they like. I want to know how I should approach your pet and what I should expect on how they will approach me. Do they want to great me and jump or need time to warm up? The first meeting is always so important and I want to do it the right way.
A typical day
With dogs, I love nature trail walks, swimming in a pool, playing fetch and tug a war. With cats I love using cat toys to enrich their day. And a nice brushing session or petting session is usually appreciated.

Skills include: medication application, IV fluids, walking, playing, vet appointments, pregnancy assistance in birth, feeding, cleaning, bathing and most importantly cuddles! (Cuddles with consent of course)

I have a senior cat that has a specific diet and medicine she needs everyday and a very anxious Chihuahua. Skylar is very good at giving my pets the care that they need. Skylar is also patient and takes the time to listen to my pets and figure out what they want.
Skylar has followed all of the specific instructions I have given her to follow. I have a service animal that she continues the proper training for when I'm traveling with out him. She is very sweet and loving with my pets as well.

Skylar has owned an animal since she was 7 years old. She has always taken care of pets. She has helped me numerous times walk, watch and house sit my German shepherd and three cats. She also has experience working at a veterinary hospital. She is very experienced and loving.
