I am employed full-time M-F 7am-3:30pm, but I am still available for bookings in the evenings and on weekends. I am not currently looking to start any repeating dog-walking bookings, but single-time bookings are welcome! (Any requests are welcome, I just will likely not accept repeating bookings).

I will treat your home and pet with care and respect, as if they were my own (or even better than that!) I will clean litter boxes at minimum daily and am happy to do so every visit. I am also ready to clean up any pet messes, administer medications, provide engaging and fun play/exercise/enrichment, and over all provide respectful and loving care for your pet! I love pet playtime and am always fully-focused to ensure the pet is getting the most exercise/energy out and as fun play as possible. I love thinking of creative ways to play, especially with cats, adapting to pet interest levels and aiming to keep them engaged for as long as they will play!

I want to give the best-possible care for your pet, so please feel free to tell me all there is to know about them! I would love to learn about their favorite toys/play styles, any special meal time routines, or other quirks/preferences displayed by your furry pal.
A typical day
I care deeply about physical and mental stimulation, and I will have high energy to play with your pet in a variety of ways with multiple toys. With dogs, I am happy to play fetch in your backyard, go on long walks around the neighborhood or in a nearby park, utilize puzzle feeders, or do any other games your pup may enjoy. I will only walk dogs on-leash. With cats, I am happy to play with teaser/wand toys, crinkle balls/mice/etc., and utilize cat trees for jumping/climbing/scratching play. I am confident I can mentally and physically stimulate your pet, with challenges and complex play sessions. I love switching up my play style to keep your pets on their toes ;)

Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting with Rover for 7 months now, and I have been a pet owner for 10+ years, having three childhood mini Australian Shepherds (as well as caring for three litters of puppies from said childhood dogs) and more recently having a cat (Benji <3) for 10 months. I am reliable, communicative, and determined to give your cat or dog so much love! I have experience with a variety of temperaments, particularly with anxious pets. I am very observant of pet body-language and sensitive to anything they might want to communicate. I am also comfortable administering oral medication through food, as my cat Benji is on Prozac for his anxiety. I am patient and slow with all pets, and will be sure to follow any guidelines to make sure your pet feels loved and safe. I know how nervous pets can be when their owners are away, and I would love to be a safe person for your pet to know they are loved while you're gone.

Simon has been an amazingly reliable and flexible walker and Miss Dot, who is often scared of people, fell in love with Simon quickly. Simon was patient and let Miss Dot build trust at her own pace. Highly recommend Simon for any and all pets!
Simon was such an incredible sitter and was so attentive to my cats’ needs. I was getting consistent updates and lots of pictures, just like I asked! I couldn’t have asked for better care for my cats while I was away, and I will absolutely be rebooking.
