I make sure the animal gets what ever care they need. If they need water, I’ll always refill it. If they need to go outside, I’ll go with them. If they have zoomies, we’ll play or take a walk. If they just need some love, I will give them a kiss on the head and pet them for as long as they need.

Pet care experience
I have always been the one to watch family friends’ fur babies and I always will. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger because I loved animals so much. I have cared for old and young and big and small dogs. I have learned that you definitely can teach an old dog new tricks, as I previously taught my 12 year old pug how to help pick him up! Animals have proven to learn through repetition and reward.

We have 3 cats that are really shy. They tend to hide when people are around, so most people never get to see them. With her calm and patient nature, they actually came out for her to see and interact with them. She would even send us pictures of them, which was reassuring. It was nice to know they were with someone they could be comfortable with so we could sit back and enjoy our vacation.
When I moved back to the Fresno area I was introduced to Shayla looked after my dog Muppet. She has proven to be reliable, trustworthy, responsible and wonderful as a caretaker for my dog. I no longer feel bad when I have to leave my Muppet for a night or longer. Muppet loves spending time with Shay.
Shayla has a kind heart for animals. She has the patience needed to tend and care for animals. She has taken care of multiple kinds of breeds. She has a calm demeanor to help anxious dogs calm their excitement. She knows commands and is not afraid to teach other dogs commands as well. She takes care of animals with compassion and fills the needs animals have with walks, feedings, playtime & affectionate interaction, just to name a few.
Shayla has watched my 2 pugs multiple times and has always done a terrific job! She’s very reliable and sends updates! I know my pups are in good hands. Highly recommend!
