Pets are family, simple as that
Pets have been in my life ever since I was a toddler. From a farming background, I have experience with working dogs, as well as family pets. Not just dogs, cats also (I am more so a cat person, but no love lost for dogs!), and then the uncommon pets - rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians. You name it, I've likely cared for it, but definitely will have loved it!

Safety, trust & environment
I live with family which includes my own two cats, and then 2 dogs that are mostly my mum's. For that reason, I would not be offering immediately house care at my own home. But if you leave a list/schedule of requirements of how you usually look after your pets, I see no reason I would not be able to give them the exact care they are used to. I believe it's so important that pets maintain their routine as closely as possible, especially when their loved ones are away.

As expected, Shaun did a marvellous job of looking after the menagerie. Lyra adores him, he was almost smothered by her welcome. Cats were suitably loved. Fish were fed. Chickens chirping. No hesitation in recommending Shaun to look after your precious pet family.
Shaun stepped in at very short notice to care for my pet family when a booked carer cancelled. He did a marvellous job of looking after my lively labrador and two cats, plus assorted tropical fish and chickens. Everyone was in great health and spirits when we returned, the hens were laying, the cats were happy, the dog well walked and cared for and they are all looking forward to a return visit from Uncle Shaun.
I have known Shaun for a number of years and he is one of this world's true animal lovers. He cares for his own little companions faultlessly, providing a secure home, good quality food, frequent interaction and loads of cuddles! I have accompanied him whilst volunteering with wild animals in Namibia and seen his passion and enthusiasm for their wellbeing first-hand. He is engaged by creatures of every type and species and is always concerned for their safety and health, rescuing insects, moving toads out of harm's way and spending time and resources helping stray cats and dogs. He would be a perfect person to trust with your pet, he looked after my most precious boy whilst I was on holiday and he sent me frequent informative and amusing updates and cared for him as if he were his own. My elderly boy means the world to me and needs attentive and informed care. I wouldn't leave him with many people, but would have no hesitation in leaving him with Shaun again. I recommend him most highly

Schedule
I work remotely in IT, so I can quite easily fit walks and care and interaction to any and all of your pets. I do have meetings throughout the day, but never usually will I be committed for longer than a straight hour, and never more than once of that length per day. And my work schedule is semi flexible, so I can pick things up later in the evening if there are non-negotiable requirements for your pets during the day.
