We would love the company of your pup! Until the loss of our sweet boy Bean in June 2025, for over 25 years we had our own dogs (up to three at one point). But now without any of them around anymore our home has become rather quiet. Enter your dog. We have experience with senior dogs but are not unfamiliar with some youthful energy as well.

Sharon and Akira took wonderful care of my 10 year old border terrier. Clearly they enjoyed him and made sure that he was well cared for and appreciated. They also provided me with daily information about him, photos, and videos. I have already engaged them for caring for him again in August.
We had a great experience with Sharon and Akira! They were patient, flexible, and communicative throughout the stay, and took the time to help my dog feel comfortable and cared for. Their daily updates, photos, and videos gave me real peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was in good hands. We could not have asked for better sitters and would absolutely book with them again.
They are amazing with my dog. My dog had just been diagnosed with cancer and wasn’t sure how things would go but they were very communicative, let me know when concerns were arising, and took great care of her.
I would highly recommend Sharon and Akira, especially if you have senior dog needs. When my 15yo dog had a difficult night, they were very accommodating to learn more how they can help him settle in better. They were very thoughtful in their questions and because of their patience and focus on care, our pup had a great stay. Thanks again!

Schedule
From the early days of the COVID pandemic we became accustomed to a largely home based life. This worked out well for our dog who had developed separation anxiety from when we had recently moved. As a result, to this day one of us is nearly always home. You can be assured that the companionship needs of your dog come first in our home. We will not leave them alone in our unit, however that does mean that on occasion car rides may be a necessity. Please consider this when booking.

Living in a condo does not often afford the luxury of a fenced yard, however when pups in our charge need to “go”, rain or shine they simply must. This is what we believe anyway and it is how we live. Please know that your dog’s exercise needs also come first in our home.
A typical day
We tend to be pretty mellow and patient around here. Your pup will have plenty of time to enjoy sniffing on walks or playing and cuddling at home.

- We want to know all the details and idiosyncrasies about your pup. As applicable, please include information about any special grooming requirements as well as vet info for dogs with ongoing medical concerns. Any information that you are able to provide will help us to support comfort levels all around as effectively as possible. Please note that our quiet hours for messaging are between 8PM and 7AM PST. We ask at least 3 days notice before boarding for all new client inquiries and prefer stays of no longer than 5 days on first time requests. Thank you!
