Hi there! My name is Shannon McCarthy. I have a full time job working in MA. Your furry loved ones will be my priority but I might not be a great fit if they cannot be left alone during the work week. I have owned large dogs & cats all my life and have years of walking and pet-sitting experience. I’m always up to walk, run or just play! Animals that enjoy lounging are of course welcome as well! Your animal’s safety and happiness is my goal. While dogs are typically the main request, I am open to any other animals. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend!

For overnights I prefer to meet your pet beforehand so they can get to know me. I give as much love as they need during my stay but always respect their boundaries.

Shannon did a superb drop-in visit for our Zach and Zelda. I appreciate her great follow up communication (and pictures) in taking wonderful care of our pups. Our Zach has epilepsy and it is reassuring to know that she administered his medication timely, gave them supper and let them outside. Thanks again, Shannon!
Shannon took remarkable care of my 14 year old pup and 2 year old cat. They were both very comfortable in her presence and I had much peace of mind while away!
I’ve had bad experiences in the past with house sitters online, but I was determined to establish a trustworthy relationship, and find someone when in need of house/pet sitting for my dog, and I think I found the one. Shannon came weeks ago for a meet and greet and my pup loved her right away. She then stayed for her first overnight on NYE. Showed up on time, very professional, mature, she sent us pictures and updates throughout the night and morning. I’ll definitely be using her again. Finally, someone we feel we can rely on!!!
Shannon was great, even though this booking was just a few days in advance, she replied quickly and was able to handle Gigi’s bedtime and morning walk. Very communicative and polite. Thanks Shannon!

I currently work full time from Monday to Friday. Due to my changing work schedule, I usually see requests for weekend bookings but can do week days as well.

- I would like to know any preferences your animals has. Also all information about feeding times and how their water is taken care of. Really anything that would help me to not change up your pets schedule too much.
