All I need to really know about a dog is if they have any special care needs, medications, allergies, if they suffer from separation anxiety, those sorts of things. I've dealt with animals who been abused and badly mistreated and were rescued and know how to handle and approach them, but it is something that I need to know up front just so I know how to approach them. Any special diets or food restrictions or exertion limits. I've dealt with dogs after surgeries and ones who were on crate/kennel rest as well. I have no breed preferences or restrictions. I've had labs, Chihuahuas, French Bulldogs, boxer/pitbull/shar pei mixes growing up, and I've sat for husky's, Australian sherpards, mastiff's, German sherpards, Chihuahuas, Brittany spaniels, and more.

I am more than happy to take your dog for a walk around your neighborhood or im willing to travel. My dog has very high anxiety walking anywhere there is too much noise, so he prefers a more wooded area away from traffic. I'm always up for a game of fetch or tug of war!

I've had pets since I was born. I've fostered cats, kittens, and elderly dogs for shelters, and have experience pet sitting for dogs of a variety of sizes. Sometimes those sits were for 4 weeks at a time. I also have experience giving dogs medication and am familar with the different medications having been in a shelter environment and having a mom who worked in a vets office. I've had my own deaf dog for 11 years now and am very familiar with the care involved with a dog with special needs. I've also adopted senior dogs and know what kind of care they require. I know how to take care of dogs with high anxiety issues and those with a lot of phobias too. I've yet to meet an animal I didn't like!

Shannon did an excellent job caring for our senior, special needs dog. Right before we left our dog was having issues which required increase care. Shannon did a perfect job caring for Addi. Everything was great when we arrived home. Thank you again!

Shannon is so responsive to my requests, and always very professional! I scheduled her for my first drop in visit and everything went great, with my special needs, senior dog! She texted me right afterwards to let me know how it went before I even had to ask! I already scheduled her again for an overnight visit! Shannon is great!
I can not recommend Shannon enough ! She watched our elderly bulldog that has an eye/sight issues and needs daily eye drops. From the time we met her we felt exceptionally comfortable with her. She took care of not only our home but our dog and he was so happy he barely noticed that we were home again !! I will continue to use Shannon and would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a in house sitter. You couldn’t even tell she was here !! Already booking our next sitting ! She is extremely caring and comfortable with animals !
