Highlights
Pet care experience
I'm available, so enjoy your plans!
I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty.

Shamya also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Sha'myla has been sitting for me for about two weeks now and she's great. She's reliable, honest, punctual and responds quick.

Sha'mya Black was a roommate of mine and I am responsible for a cat. Sha'mya was great with my cat and they were good buddies. My cat would leave me when Sha'mya was in the shared living space and hang out with her. I appreciated the break and my cat appreciated the friend.
Sha'mya has helped both with my cat and other family members dogs for almost 4 years now. She helped give eye-infection medicine to my roommate's cat after he adopted him with one eye. She has been very helpful in watching for mine and my family's animals and has always been available when we have asked her. She has kept our litter box clean, and food/water in the bowl. She did great when my sister went out of town and helped watch her dogs.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.
Pets
A typical day
We will play with as many toys as they wish. I enjoy playing games and making sure your pet gets the mental stimulation they need.
