I am a stay at home mom and home school my children. Your furbabies will have the attention if myself and my children for their entire visit. We give frequent potty breaks and playtime outside weather permitting.

I have a fenced in backyard. I never leave my dogs or yours unattended together until I am fully certain there will be no issues. If there ever are any issues between any dogs in my home I simply alternate their times in the common areas. I have extra kennels if I need them which I try not to kennel my own or even your furbabies unless that is part of their normal routine. I have a custom wood gate that divides my living room from my kitchen and this allows me to just keep dogs separated but not kenneled. I have had senior dogs who prefer calm and quiet and we can always accommodate them by allowing them a retreat to my bedroom. They have choice of my bed or I have multiple dog beds. I keep plenty of dog toys on hand so no need to send any unless there is something special you think your dog needs. My only request is provide care instructions and food.

A typical day
We love to play fetch! My dogs could run after a toy all day. If yours is active they will get the excercise they need. If you have a less active pup that is fine too! I'm just as good at snuggling on the couch with your fur baby as I am throwing the ball!

One of our 3 holds a very special place in my heart! He was one of two runts of a litter of 14. His brother died at two days old and it was expected that he would die too. The owner of the litter let me take him to give him a chance at life. I bottled fed my sweet baby from 2 days old. I love all animals but truly love my dogs they are a part of my family! Yours will be treated as such too! I also care for an African Grey Parrot, Quaker Parrot, and Cockatoo for a couple when they go out of town. I have been around most types of animals my whole life including farm animals giving me the knowledge and experience to provide basic care for all animals. Your fur babies are allowed to make themselves at home. They are allowed on all furniture unless it is your wish that they not be allowed to do so and at then I would deter them if attempted so as not to learn any bad habits to take back home.

Shaina and her husband seemed like very nice people, true dog lovers. I knocked off one star only because it was a private home setting, not the spacious professional kennel my dog is accustomed to. That does not mean they provided inferior care for my dog. In fact, he seemed to really enjoy staying with them. Shaina sent several photos of my dog playing with her dogs and bonding with her husband. They were very informative about his behavior and interactions when we picked him up. I would not hesitate to recommend Shaina as a sitter.
