As mentioned, I do have a part time job, but my shifts are no longer than 6 hours long, usually around 5 hours. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving them alone any longer! Information Sarah M. would like to know about your pet
I do not discriminate against breed, age, quirks, or developmental delays, however, for my and your pet's safety, I will not accept reactive dogs. Your fur baby will be very loved, no matter who they are! I just request you inform me of anything I need to know about behaviors, health concerns, temperaments, etc., so that way we in the home can adapt accordingly to meet you and your fur baby's needs! I also ask you please make sure you pet's profile is completed before our meet and greet! This is to ensure your pets receives the best care, based on their needs. A Few Extra Bits of Info: >>My husband, James, will accompany me on most meet and greets and walks after dark, as a safety measure. >>I do have a Seven-day cancellation policy, resulting in a 50% refund if cancelled a week before the booking takes place. However, if you cancel within 36 hours of the start of the booking, you will not be refunded. >>Constant care requests will include a premium. >> Refer a friend for 10% off your next booking!
A typical day
I treat Walks and Drop-ins similarly; the only difference being for a walk booking, your pup will get a walk and with the drop-in your pup will be let out into the yard to run around for a bit (when applicable), and a water refresh/feeding (when needed), and of course the kitties will be fed, litter box cleaned, and some playtime! With Boardings, James and I are home most of the day, but may leave the home for a few hours at a time for a short work shift or errands. We are a crate-free home, as we like to take the B&B approach to this particular type of booking, but if you feel better about crating while we are out of the home, we could do so. We also would never leave the apartment unattended for more than 6 hours. We love to take our pups on field trips to the dog park, to get pup cups, and the occasional weekend hike, usually to a waterfall, no more than a few miles round-trip, always staying hydrated! House-sittings includes me staying in your home overnight and two 30 minute drop ins: one around noon, and one at dinnertime. Also included is a midday and morning/evening walk. Overnight times will be between 8 & 9 in the evening until between 6 & 7 AM. I am also more than happy to take them on little adventures like the ones included in my boarding description above! Note, if you would need me to be in the home most of/ all of the day, I do charge a 100% premium. I will never leave your babies alone for more than 6 hours at a time, AT MOST!

Hi Friend! I'm Sarah, and my husband is James. I've been a dog owner for the last 20 years, have lived with at least one dog for the last 30 years, and for my whole life, have always gotten excited when I given the privilege to meet a new animal! I've cared for puppies, as well as seniors, from tiny breeds to extra large breeds. I also have experience with cats! (more information in 'cat care details'. My current pup is a 4 year old Chiweenie named Laszlo, who I've raised from 10 weeks old. I also have some experience in basic grooming and offer that service as well (nail grinding, bath & brush, ear cleaning and breath freshening)! Your furry best friend is in good hands! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to me. I am currently looking for FIVE to SEVEN pups to walk on a regular weekly basis; I am adaptable to accommodate you and your pet to provide the most comfort for all. Very bad experience Booking to start on a Wednesday at 3:30pm. to go through Sunday. This was excepted. Sara M arrived at 5:30 Wednesday (I have a Ring) Next morning, 5:45am texting me messages , weird phony excuses of me finding a new sitter (ie there is an odor in my house, her throat is scratchy and now it’s closing, I have a regular cleaning crew who just cleaned the house day of her arrival and then switched excuses to my expectations are too high , then not a good fit ). I was on a shuttle to the airport At 7:30am she cancelled booking as my plane was taking off. Very hostile, inappropriate communication on her part. I am so glad everything is documented by Rover. At this point they are involved and doing an internal investigation Never again

Sarah was wonderful! This was my first time using Rover (and my first time using a pet sitter who wasn’t a coworker), so I was a little nervous, but she made the whole experience easy and stress-free. She was patient with all my questions and even shared some helpful tips for future pet-sitting needs. I came home to a very happy dog and a very content cat, and I really appreciated the daily updates and photos. The biggest surprise was my shy cat—he usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but he became comfortable with Sarah so quickly! I would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, especially for a weekend away.
Sara was extremely patient and kind with my 16yo dog while I was out. Ive used her services multiple times as my girl got older and watching her became trickier each time. Super communicative and invested in your pets wellbeing.
