I make sure I understand what they need - for example, my senior dog is blind in both eyes so she requires a cone to get around the house to avoid sharp collisions. For my cat, I've done my research to avoid keeping any sort of flowers or toxic chemicals around the house to keep her as safe as possible. I also have plenty of toys and towers to keep my pets entertained and happy!

A typical day
I would take them for walks, play with whatever toys their heart desires until they're tired, and take them to dog parks if they are well socialized. Otherwise, I would take special care to be attentive and give them the treats, cuddles, and love they need!

Pet care experience
From taking care of baby chicks to injured birds when I was younger, to looking after our family dog who has had diabetes all her life, I have always loved and deeply cared about animals and their well-being! My dog, Minki, was diagnosed with diabetes when she was jut two years old - early on in her care, I had to help give her insulin shots morning and night, 7am and 7pm on the dot daily. She lived a full life for 15 years and I’m so grateful I got to spend my childhood/adulthood loving her and making memories with her. I also have a cat that has been with me since 2020 that i absolutely adore. I make sure to consistently take her to her yearly vet visits, play with her whenever she is bored, and give her lots of cuddles and kisses!

Sarah was great with Alfie! He’s still a kitten so very shy and Sarah was patient with him and he opened up to playing with her. She was always on time and great communication.
I needed to hire a sitter last minute to watch my cat for a week and Sarah was available and visited my cat Lola early in on in the day and was consistent throughout the week with the time of her visits. Super sweet girl and my cat seemed excited and playful with her in the pictures she provided. Will definitely be having Sarah come by again!!
