My schedule varies based on my workload and how many other animal (and human!) clients I am scheduled to see. There is no “typical” schedule for me, but if I agree to a booking, that means I am able to comfortably pencil you and your fur babies in!

The more information the owner gives me about their pets, their dislikes and likes, and their habits, the better I’m able to serve them. Your pets will be given gentle care and love, although I also make sure I do not enforce bad behavior. I respect animals greatly and will treat them with positive reinforcement. Usually animals love me, but if they are more apprehensive I let them warm up to me on their own watch, out of respect for their autonomy and for my personal safety.

The more info you can give me about your dog/pet, the better! I want to make sure this is a great experience for both of you. How are they socially (with animals, and humans)? Do they have any aggressive-behavior triggers? Any routines they adhere to? Do they have any health issues I should be aware of? What's their personality like? **Drop-in visits: -Any areas of the house they should keep out of? -Any habits you are trying to stop, any rules you want me to enforce **Walks: -How are they on the leash? -Are there any specific collars/leashes/harnesses to use for them? -If there's any specific route you'd like me to take -Are they scared of cars/bikes/skateboards etc?
A typical day
A typical day will include pets and rubs and scratches (if they like that!) , and of course some play time. For an extra charge I will take your non-reactive dog hiking (on leash) with me, otherwise we will have a good time walking around your neighborhood.

I have adored animals ever since I was a little girl. Back in Hawai'i I started my own pet-sitting and dog walking business at 17, had fun with it for a few years, and am loving getting back into it! I have a dog, a cat and a cockatiel who all have my heart. I truly believe pets are like family members and nothing less; I understand your love for them and will treat them with respect, love, and care, and make sure they are safe and happy. I am passionate about animals of all kinds, and truly love doing this. Every pet is different- the more details you can give me about them and their quirks and likes and dislikes, the better! I want to make them as comfortable as possible. During my visits, you will receive cute pictures and updates. I take pride in maintaining a clean environment and always leave places as I found them. Additionally, I am attentive to my surroundings and will keep a watchful eye on your home and inform you of anything unusual or noteworthy that you might need to know. I am so grateful to my clients for putting their trust in me, and I’m aware of how vulnerable one has to be to be able to hire a sitter! I don’t work a traditional 9-5, so my days are usually pretty flexible. **I currently have no experience with giving meds aside from pills / oral medication, however if you are willing to teach me how to administer a certain medication, I will be glad to help out. I have a steady hand and am not squirmish.

Sarah was fantastic with our blind senior dog. She followed all our instructions carefully and handled everything with calm and care—even when our pup went on a little hunger strike, which can sometimes happen. When we got home, the place was spotless and our dog was relaxed and well looked after. It’s such a relief to find someone we can trust, and we’ll definitely be booking Sarah again!
Sarah did a great job taking care of our chihuahua Nico! Nico can be nervous at times but she was very patient with him and made him feel comfortable.
Sarah was so great!! I will definitely be rebooking her.
